My older brother was friends of the family over 20 years back and we had a good few times back at one or 2 of the sisters houses for late drinks years ago in Blackpool. I remember sat there one night back at Maureen's I think and all of the sisters were there together and there brother Tommy when suddenly the girls in their slippers got up and performed I'm in the mood for dancing slightly merry🤣 it was a funny sight for sure.Nice people.

' She's THE Nolan sister ' said a tall fella in her group of company . There followed a really nice chat with a gracious and engaging lady . Maybe I regret mentioning I preferred the original version of an ABBA song they covered .it just came out and it seemed to disappoint her . Anyway, thanks for the chat Bernie and I hope you are okay in the great beyond !

I know this video is a year old, but I'm just binge watching your fabulous channel. I've admired the amazing Nolan Sisters and their sublime, harmonious voices since I was 10. Lovely Bernie was such an enormously talented singer and actor. Her voice/range was just incredible. I remember hearing 'Gotta Pull Myself Together', 'Crashing Down', 'Attention To Me' and the heavenly 'Are You Thinking Of Me' on the radio and I was blown away by her powerful, 'white soul' voice. The Nolans toured Australia/Sydney in the early 90s and the concert was sensational. When they sang 'Spirit, Body and Soul' and 'Chemistry' together, it was unforgettable. Bernie was also an accomplished actress and I enjoyed watching her in The Bill. She was an exceptionally gifted entertainer, who passed away far too young, from such an awful disease. Yet, her beautiful songs will live on forever. Thank you so much Paul, for this touching tribute to Bernadette Nolan. RIP Angel Voice.🌹💖☮️🇦🇺
