I was given a Bernini 801 a few months ago. It has fast become my favourite. I need to change the belts as the bobbin wind is sluggish. thanks for the help.

Can you help with this machine again please.? Any tips on changing the light bulb, it is proving to be very difficult. It has beaten me and is now threatening to beat my OH.

Thanks for the informative video Dave. Would you be able to provide a replacement for the capacitor across the live/neutral input on the power board (it's blown so can't be read), the 0.068 uF on the same card and a 0.01 uF on the speed control board please

Hi Dave, thanks for your video and sharing your knowledge! I just got a bernina 801 as well, the seller said it was serviced but I don't think so. It sews well, the only thing is that it makes kind of a jerky "puff puff puff" noise when sewing slowly. When sewing fast the sound is uniform. I read on a forum that it might be tension of the belt being too high. Do you think something similar or something is wrong?

If its jerkey than its likely the foot controller that needs attention I do a mail order repair service on these
