Hi Robyn! Thanks for sharing the information about what needle the Bernina 830 machine needs. Can you share how to know if we are buying the right metal bobbins?

@@brianneunc The correct bobbins for that machine were solid but you can use the new style bobbins that have 7 holes. I always tell my Customers 7 holes spells Bernina so they remember.I hope this helps.

I have an 850 record and an old I think 720 ( packed away atm ) but what beautiful machines! Edit..thank you so much for this video! I did not know about the hole in the bobbin case and I did not know about the hole in the end of the brush! 😅

Hello, my Bernina 830 Record / Electronic from 1979 does not show red dots? Is this different from the Bernina 830 Record. And is it safe to just put oil to the area you pointed out?
