So helpful thanks a lot!! Ive got mine working again. I initially used too weak foot pedal, so recommend making sure foot pedal is the correct amps for the Nova.

Hello. I got a new electronic foot pedal online. It must be electronic because they have all the wiring and capacitors etc inside the foot pedal rather than in the machine. I didn’t need any wires with the foot pedal because I reused the original machine wires. You can therefore buy a pedal only. Good luck and just be careful.

Hello, I was able to complete the rewiring. The light works, but the motor isn't working. On the Motor, I used a multimeter to test the voltage and it is good on the blue/white and again on the black/white. I think it is the carbon brushes on the motor. UGH!!! The only other thing it could be is if the wiring is backwards on the electronic foot pedal, but it shouldn't matter which is positive and negative.@@mepnel
