So glad I watched this video! I was not going to try corded pin tucks because I do not have the cord guide. I am snowed in and feeling brave to try something I have never done before. Now that I know about using the hole in the plate, turning off the eye on the bobbin, using the yellow bobbin case I am going to dig into my yarns and have a go. Thank you!

Hi Gayle I have only just started watching your videos but you have taught me so much in such a short space of time, you are so talented and its so good that you show us what each foot does, I have so many and now I have someone who knows what they each do. I learnt couching the other day from you and can't wait to get onto my machine and have a go at it. Thank you Gayle for giving up your time to teach us how to do so many things. I'm glad you live in America and I live in England else I would be in your shop every day spending money. Take care. Laura

I have been a mini piping nut for years. Your method of creating and inserting piping is fabulous. I have a five groove foot but I can see a three groove foot in the near future. Your videos are wonderful!

Very cool!! Bernina is the best!! I’m watching my Saturday morning sewing show on PBS she’s sewing pintucks on a Brother…shes having to do all kinds of extra stuff so much easier on the Bernina!!

This is the best, most informative, and enjoyable pintuck video I've ever seen. I've enjoyed watching your videos for some time and they are all really good. Gail is a delight to watch and follow along with and her occasional little joking comments are so fun. I get a lot of inspiration from your videos. Thank you so much And my local Bernina dealer thanks you to

I have a 790 but also a 220 (which I love) I can pin tuck using both machines. That means a lot for some of us that own older Bernini’s. Thanks for the great video!

I've been practicing with the #46C foot. I found the 3mm double needles make a nice pin tuck, and you can make any row as wide as you would like, but the grooves keep it straight and fast. Then I jumped over to my 480 machine to do the decorative stitches. What fun! I made two samples with 10 squares, and found the pintucks work best with a lt. wt. tear away stabilizer, and the decorative stitches work best with a little more stabilizer. By the way....I think 7.8w on the decorative stitches make it a little easier to fit in the middle clearing of the #46. It's worth it to play!

Absolutely love the idea of using the pintuck foot for piping. I'm going to give it a try for the doll clothes for Stitchin' for Kids! Thank you.

Your videos are so informative. I want to begin heirloom sewing for my baby granddaughter. I would love to see more details on the heirloom blouse you show on several of your videos. Perhaps I’ve overlooked that one.

We haven’t done a specific video on this blouse. Little bits with Spanish hem stitch and pin tucking. But this is a good idea!

Use the cork screw bobbin case meant to be the embroidery bobbin. Also increase upper tension a notch higher.
