I really enjoyed your video. I have 2 Bernina sewing machines. We are in the process of building an addition to our home and I will have a large quilt studio. I have been planning on getting the Q24 with the computer. It is a big investment. Now I know that I am making the right decision on what type of a longarm to buy. I love how you love that machine! I live in Germany and wanted a longarm machine, and all the other great brands are from USA and we do not have service for them here. So my decision was easy and was for Bernina, since I already had and still have a 790 plus as a my sewing machine and that makes the understanding for the Q24 very easy - love the great engineering of the Swiss guys from Bernina and my longarm lady who came to my home to set it up and to build it right for my body measures - perfect machine with perfect service - you made a good decision and enjoy your work with those horses! After testing out several of the other top brands on the market, I also decided the Bernina Q24 was the superior machine. Worth every penny of the investment! Gotta ❤️❤️ that Swiss engineering!!! Thanks for the great video!

Well I’m a bernina girl since I have six berninas including the q20 which sits in a koala table. I absolutely love love love it and this q24 is very similar to the q20. They truly make the best machines around! Even though I have a q20 I’ll be sending you all some of my big quilts since you guys do a great job!

I just purchased a Q24 and haven't picked it up yet. I've been desperately searching online to learn the how too's of longarming, (cause I'm a newbie to stand up, I have a sit down already). Your video was so informative and calming & reassuring, I feel much better. ❤ Now, I did "like" & I'm already subscribed, BUT, would you guys ever consider giving tutorials we could watch & learn? With newer Bernina domestic sewing machines in particular (excepting the 880), you should not adjust the tension of your bobbin. The cases are set at factory settings and rarely need adjusting, and is done most successfully by a certified Bernina technician. If you are doing a bobbin play type of technique with a thick metallic or specialty thread in your bobbin, Bernina recommends that you use a bobbin case they have made especially for those kinds of techniques. It is red instead of black. They also have the high tension bobbin case for embroidery, which some people find gets even better results for your embroidery designs. This one is yellow. The bobbin tension gauge they are showing is for bernina long arm machines only.
