I enjoyed the interview. Met her when she came to Metropolitan Apostolic Church to meet with Dr. Leon Finney in Chicago. We said hello as I was walking by. I backed up after it registered who she was and I said, Thelma!! And she said yes and we hugged. I told her that I had just watched Good Times that past weekend. She was beautiful, sweet, and down to earth.

He saw you the other day, panicked and called me... can I have your autograph? BS was like sure!!! Who do I make it out to? Good interview. I figured she might have exited tv to do some stage work, which is what Ralph Carter did, and who also did a play with John Amos a little over 20 years ago, I think as father and son. Still though it would have been nice to see her at least a few movies during the 80s, sometime after the show ended. But I get it, when a person needs a break, they need a break.
