Under Fettig this has become the best symphonic band I've ever heard. Better than '60s U of M., Eastman, Japanese grade school, etc. It's this guys coloring, balance and insistence on absolute pitch. Love to hear a recording of some of the classic band show pieces - Tritico, Hindemith Synphony. Also, some transcriptions like Verdi requiem, Fetes from 3 Nocturns, etc. which have never really been given definitive band recordings. Bravo!!
