Had mine for few days now. I LOVE IT. But, the strap loops keep sliding down the band so the band has to go even though it is quite comfortable. Cool watch. Lume is incredible. Get one. Update: taking off my coat, the band came undone, fell to the floor and dented the case and lug. Band is crap. Got a new band and it is now secure.

Nice looking watch Simon. I definitely agree that some prices are getting close to a point that makes some watches not worth buying, particularly San Martin. Not saying the watches are bad quality but without the backup of a local warranty option it would be crazy to pay over $400 for ANY Ali Express watch that you'd have to send back to China for repair or replacement. Not worth it. For this watch though I wouldn't mind paying an extra ten or 15 quid to get an NH36A in there. I have this Chinese movement in a watch I sold some time ago and the accuracy was +79 seconds per day. Very bad.

I know San Martin have produced some more inexpensive watches recently but for the most part their watch prices are getting a bit out of control tbh. The accuracy of these movements is very hit and miss, I’d agree. Thanks for watching my friend 👍👍

I'd get this one, even the white one looks good, for the price is more than fine! It has a "militair" vibe, not bad though. The strap is the first thing to go for sure, but that's that. I've purchased one from Aliexpress 11.11 sales for $54.18. Mine has the Miyota 8205 movement and with Sapphire crystal. 200M WR. I switched the strap to a SS bracelet. One of the best bargain watch I can think of. Great vacation watch!

Unfortunately they changed Seagull to useless Miyota 82xx... Surprisingly this Miyota hacks, so it's most likely 8204 rather than 8205. But that doesn't change the fact that it's rotor is just disgusting. The watch is awesome but this is my last Miyota for sure. Such a shame they change Seagull for that crap. I've got ST16 in other Berny and it's an awesome entry level movement.

I have the black dial version i love it its an unsual timepiece why the black dial versions do not say BERNY on them instead state FIRST TIME i do not know but overall lovely watch... the strap is ok for very small wrists otherwise too small but swapped mine out for NATO bond ... BUT FOR MONEY yes very good piece and keeps time very well..

That is terrific value for an automatic watch. I like the aesthetic, colour and even the strap. How they can sell for that price is hard to comprehend? Definitely has a nod to the Jaeger LeCoultre Master Compressor. The thing I find difficult with these modern super compressors is whether they are true super compressors or just in the style of? Either way, most people never use them for their intended purpose. Great review 👏 👌

Some of the watches on AliExpress are quite ridiculous in terms of value for money and I definitely take your point on compressor’s, as many I’ve seen definitely just give a ‘feel for’ but then again I only review ‘affordable’ pieces. Thanks for watching and all your support mate 👍👍

As much as I dislike the name of the brand, I think they may have won me over with this watch. Very clean and symmetrical dial, unique look, and nice inner rotating bezel. I actually like the looks of this strap…but not sure I would like it on ME!

good watch and great aftermarket service by berny. I lost a screw for the bracelet and they sent me back 3 bars and a bracelet. The lume is very good and after a few months, the seagull movement still seems great. One of my most beloved brands on Ali. Thanks for the review

Hi Eduardo and thank you for your question. Since I reviewed this watch they have upgraded the crystal to Sapphire and also now has a Miyota movement so should be a good option. Unfortunately I sold it some time ago to fund more watches so I wouldn’t be able to comment on how it performs long term, sorry and I hope that helps 👍👍

It's good to see them doing something a little different than the standard homages you typically find on AliExpress, especially for that price! The lug to lug, and lack of sapphire kind of kill it for me, but I can still see this being a good seller for them. I'd take that Seagull movement over an 8215 any day of the week!
