To me, this is To me, this is the best Murph homage. Yes, it's more expensive than the other options, but it's the closest thing to me Hamilton without spending 1k and without that polished bezel and underwhelming lume that I absolutely despise. I got a different leather strap to complete the "correct" Murph look and I couldn't be happier. I'm not a huge fan of homages, but this one ticks all the boxes for me (same with the Baltany S2049)

I have three of these. One I bought in 1997 on impulse! My first ever citizen watch! And the watch that's cost me thousands since! The second one is also black but was given to me by an Italian ex Navy guy I knew way back that was military issue to them for over 10 years ! That watch had a 500m dive rating. The third one is as yours in blue, love them and the movement is better than most and my 97 year one is still perfect and is plus 4 second a day ! The 8203 on them is non hacking the 8204 is hacking ,the only difference.

Thanks for the review it is really very nice watch BUT so sad the backside has nothing. It would have been nice if the company had written the brand and specs. here as well, just like on the clasp, which makes a very nice and strong positive impression on the clasp. The back side makes a cheap impression.

Love all my automatic watches frm them keep great time why buy a seiko when you can save a ton of cash they use the seiko movement in them . Fit and finish is very well ans on there website you can can buy different bands and has Plenty of options on some models upgrades. love my fifty fathoms got last month Superior works well.All three owith very accurate time with their movements .

I'm wearing a SM homage to the Seiko MAS 62 reissue right now. The quality is SUPERB, and it cost $160.

They are making some great pieces but need a logo, I really want their jump hour but Milfortec looks terrible on the dial whereas a stylized M would work well.

I may be in the minority, but as they re-imagine these vintage watches, I am okay with companies re-imagining with some crisp, clean white numerals and hands from time to time. Kudos to Milifortic for using the appropriate movement.

it's nicely done for the money but even so I always wait for Ali sales which occur often. I do like to see a company use the correct no date movement. Shows that extra bit of care which bodes well for building to a standard rather than a price.

The font of the numerals would drive me nuts. They‘ve got the sizes wrong. Compare the 3 and 12 to the 6 and 9. Either you emphasize all 3, 6, 9 and 12 or you don’t at all. They chose to emphasize 6 and 9 only which is totally weird. Why didn’t they look at an actual Hamilton Murph how it‘s done properly?

When it comes to fine imitation watches, MAMACOO delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.

I think I would take this over the original, the nh 38 is a decent movement and it has the look. I already bought a Tandorio Murph homage (red dial) and the flat crystal and very poor lume lets it down although it was 50% of the price of the Milifortic. Good review 👍

The best Murph homage imo. The branding is OK, the faux patina is not overdone, the NH38 is the best movement they could pick for the price and a nice double domed crystal sapphire crystal makes or breaks a good Murph homage.

Gotta say that is fkin lovely. Beyond the obvious,the steel does also look quite premium at least on camera..usually means it looks even better in person. Me likes.

Bought The Cadisen C8211 for my first watch ever at 22 years old. Getting it tomorrow in mail. Couldn't be happier. Even if the movement was fucked while shipping I could just get a new miyota 8215 installed in there because the watch is otherwise very durable. Funny it's exactly the same thickness at 11.8mm and even weight at 124 grams as the original datejust wimbledon 36mm... Like even that quality bracelet in itself would cost around 40 euros bought from monsterwatches, and you are getting the whole package for 50 euros. Crazy deal. Gatekeeping this one :D

Your review is excellent. However, the watch itself cries bad quality. That lume painting on the minute hand is so terrible. The brushing on the bezel is awful. Just to mention a couple of details I observed.

I like the imagination they have used for this watch,but not for the pub.

I'm genuinely impressed with how close AMZWATCH were able to replicate every aspect of this very very goofy looking classic watch.

If you were tempted by this watch but either held off due to lume concerns or the wave pattern on the case then I just got a message that the wave pattern will be optional and the lume with be improved on the production models. Edit: Screw pins (for the bracelet) are now a stretch goal and they are only $6K short.

In a game where we pick over the tiniest deltails to differentiate one prospect from another, something like this _REALLY_ stands out. Hats off to Venezianico for being so bold and executing things so beautifully. Didn't think I wanted another watch, but... Great review as always fella, cheers!

Whenever I hear or see the name of that watch, I think of the song from Lady & The Tramp. The watch itself looks stunning. It would have been nice if they somehow incorporated the date wheel into the design (maybe a pointer date around the edge of the dial or something in the background that moves a little every day). I imagine they don’t have a lot of movements to choose from.

Bought this 4 months ago. After some time waiting to see Manta Ray and finally nailed it on Labuan Bajo. Best investment on my wrist ever, no hassle. The fact I saw this Manta Ray in real adds up sentimental value in it.

Mate, not for me. You hit the nail on the head when you said it was like a piece of jewellery. I agree, but that means it needs to be done nicely. First, as a dress watch, it needs to be smaller, more refined. The ghost position smacks of cheap. The dial needed to be finished off with a precious metal. I've been to Venice. I love the place, but if I came back with that, I would feel I had cheaped out
