7:20 The fountain monologue also has a deeper message. Dreams can be a good thing. But they can also be really bad. "Some dreams are like storms, blowing apart thousands of other dreams in their wake". In other words, some people will use others and abuse others in order to achieve their own dreams. Use people as stepping stones. A good example is a multi billionaire. But they still are not rich enough. Still gotta barely pay their workers. 10 billion isn't enough. They gotta milk their workers so that they can join the 100 billion dollars club. Griffith is just like this. All those people fighting for him are not friends. Griffith is gonna send them into battle and get them killed just so he can become a king. If a kid who is second in line to the throne accidentally gets killed, it makes Griffith smile.

Griffith is probably in his very early 20’s. Guts is 18 for sure and Casca is probably 19…. We think.
