Favorite fight in the game probably, so well designed and fun. Not the most difficult I suppose but not every fight needs to be Gna or Sigrun. Just out of curiosity, how come you don't use the dauntless shield? Seems like it'd fit your playstyle perfectly

Haha, Dauntless is my favorite shield, and I use it most of the time. I only switch to Onslaught to increase my luck during certain boss fights. Fully upgraded, Onslaught adds 38 luck, which boosts the Vanaheim set's damage. Dauntless, on the other hand, adds 38 cooldown, which I don't really need since I just pop my relic once to deal max damage. The Onslaught Shield's charge attack is awesome for blocking incoming ranged attacks and is super handy during those blue ring attacks. Even if the boss finishes the blue rings before you can hit them with a shield bash, you won't take any damage. I rushed Gna with this shield, and it was a blast! 😄

@@promitix The stats, of course... being able to block blue attacks is also really handy for sure. The different shields are my single favorite addition to Ragnarok. It makes the combat so much more diverse and allows for completely different playstyles, I love it. It makes going back to 2018 a little rough cuz I miss the dauntless so much lol

@RepublicofODLUM Yup, I gave 2018 a shot last week and definitely missed the shields and the spear. I’m with you...having those different shields really made the gameplay a lot more fun!

Nice one! Satisfying to watch! Side note: Always disliked the look chosen for the younger Kratos. He looks too wannabe and weak. The old man look is epic.

Thank you! The old man Kratos is epic, I agree. His mature look has grown on me, and I like it more than his younger appearance. What makes me nostalgic isn’t his look but the armor, especially the waist armor, "Mark of Sparta." The issue is that this armor gives old Kratos trousers, while the young version only has the armor and greaves, which I really prefer. 😊
