Thank you for your video.. I've been looking at the GRILLO and BCS... videos on the internet.. Both of them seem like nice units.. Any particular reason on your preference of the one you have over the BCS.. . I'm still learning.. ..Looking for your opinion and any others... strengths and weaknesses?

Hardwoodbuyer They are both of similar quality. BCS does have different HP engines and they tend to be a little higher that Grillo. BCS has been in the U.S. longer and they also tend to be a little more expensive and have better dealer networks. Grillo is more user friendly as far as ease of self repair and maintenance. They are also less modern styling than BCS. SO Grillo is more utility in design. Diesel is an option for both but think about that carefully because the expense will take a while to see any savings overall. Look at the HP needs for the largest attachment you would ever want and that will guide you towards which machine to buy. I have no regrets with buying the tractor i did. There is no better option than Grillo or BCS. Either one will do a good job for you.

is there an equavilant attachment to the power harrow which they have for the BCS? www.bcsamerica.com/attachments/power-harrow/

Nige NZ Yes there is an equivalent. They are made by R2 Rinaldi out of Italy. They have been making them since 1979. There are different sizes available. A Grillo or a BCS can run them depending on your model's HP of course. www.earthtoolsbcs.com/html/bcs_implements.html

Seriously, great video. I couldn't help noticing your American Bulldog, blue scrub pants, and appreciation for agricultural. You should watch my American Bulldog Tater video to see your doppelganger. Not me, just the guy in the video. I think you two must have been separated at birth. Cheers.

Mike Strothotte I was thinking that exact same thing, and paused the video to write that too! Crazy...

the_hun80 If you tend to use machines while distracted then boots would be a good idea. If you pay attention and understand how the machine works then boots are optional and up to the user to decide if they need them or not. worrying about others safety seems to be a youtube sport.

+Mike Strothotte Your concern for YOUR safety might be first. His concern for his safety is his business.

+Charles Phillips Thank you for you comment, finally a person not overly concerned with what other people are doing!! Sometimes what seems safe really isn't anyway...

@ Charles, you are quite right. Perhaps I am overstating the obvious. I do have problems stubbing my toes even when I am focused. That tiller is a cool tool though.

Gravely uses rotory in the front of tractor, well away from your feet. This looks like you could chop a foot off

Very good content about the machine. Not so good regarding safety. Accidents will happen and many happen when some one dosn't think clearly about risks. I have worked in construction most of my life and taken more people than I like to the emergency room. Most say it was an accident not an "on purpose." Most could have been safer if they thought about it. With the greater interest in safety today there are a lot fewer three finger carpenters arround. If you want to defend three finger carpenters you may be in line foe an accident also. Teachers should teach the whole package.

Your bar tires are running backwards.

I don't change the tires when i change PTO position. It really doesn't make a difference.

It just caught my eye. An advantage of the rotary plow, it doesn't pull hard like a bottom plow.

bcs is very old firm we hawe a 40 years old bcs working from first day to this day and bcs will work another 40 years with no service and repairment
@benjamintheis94046 жыл бұрын
Well gravely is limited by it's front mounted PTO, so it's really not close to being on par with the bcs and grillo walk behind tractors. I will take my rear mounted rotary plow on my g110 over the gravely front mount.
