PPG VS GEAR X MFACTORY

Nice to see the difference. I’ve ran gear x for a year with no issues at 400hp. I ran 1 trackday and after an hour 4th gear started whining. Stripped it down and the teeth on 4th gear looks like they have started to wear down. I’ve used torco mtf oil and I can’t decide weather it’s the gears or the oil being too thin causing metal on metal to wear the gear away. 😔

You posted two videos, both with incorrect titles and information within the span of two years. Gear X does not manufacture Mfactory input shafts. Gear X is also much stronger than Mfactory units across all of their products. I'm surprised they haven't found these videos and served you with a cease and desist lol

Bert_ayham yes sir ! But my clutch doesn’t feel like it’s fully engaging but so far the gearing feels really good. Checking my clutch master. Think it’s going out.

Do you think straight cut gear is too loud for a daily ? Gonna boost my k24 8th gen debating on what gearset to go with.

Maybe go 1-2 straight cut. It's going to get annoying just think about driving in reverse all the time but at a way higher rpm.

fuck it and go full straight cut 1-4, if you pull it all apart for 1-2 you’ll regret down the road and have to pull it all apart again to add 3-4
