I wonder why the current movies are back to the old boring "guy in a mask" formula? I loved when it the monsters were real. The current movies totally seem to ignore this era of Scooby story as well as some of the movies and TV shows from the 80s like "13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo" and "Scooby Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf", Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School", etc. Shaggy and Daphne have BOTH been real werewolves themselves and apparently so have Scooby and Velma and Fred was briefly a vampire and things like that never get mentioned in today's scooby movies.

DarkWillUser There are different continuities. This movie is supposed to be set in the original series timeline but years later. I think the episodes where Shaggy wears red is in the same timeline.

Rock and Roll Mystery with Kiss was actually not too bad. It was a fusion of the real monsters/baddie in a mask. But good music to go along with it.

DarkWillUser imo after the 4 mook animation movies, and after the retirement of Casey kasem, the movies were never the same Scott innes was way better at voicing scooby then frank welker will ever be. & Matthew lillard is not the best living voice actor to play shaggy. That honor goes to billy west, & Scott innes. I'll say this at least Matthew Lillard isn't as bad as Scott menville was. And Kate Miccuci is the worst Velma imo since Marla frumkin. Yeah Kate Miccuci sounds a little geeky, & yeah Velma is a geek, but TBH she's not that geeky. IMO Mindy Cohn and BJ Ward were better as the voice of Velma.

I know, right? I mean it's just ridiculous that the original version of this song was not made available on any soundtrack album, and nor is it available to buy from iTunes. And this song has not been available for 15 long years! They could at least have the decency to release the soundtrack from this movie in its original format on CD or MP3! But instead, we are left with mediocre versions of those two songs.

Yep, this is inspiration. The things this song gives me as an idea for my Manga (As a story arc, or sorts) is too good to pass up when your story takes place in the future where monsters ARE real. Seriously, this is awesome

Actually it's not completely clean. It's been sped up by a small percentage [maybe 5%, wouldn't say any higher]. You can tell because the tempo's a teeny bit faster than the original, and the pitch is slightly higher.

It is clean its just from the PAL DVD credits, it's sped up by exactly 4.271% so if you want to slow it down to original speed slow the speed and pitch by 4.271%

Actually it was directly ripped off from the DVD version of the movie, either they tried to avoid copyright on the movie itself or it was simply intended like this. I'm also not sure if there's more out there, they've only had 2 OST's for the movie. but there are different versions out there of the 2 OST's.

I'm pretty sure PAL has low fps (25 fps) while NTSC has 30 fps. Still, I got both versions and it sounds the same, strangely enough. Maybe there are different releases then?
