I left BR in '98, but it's a scene I remember well. An old fashioned railman at heart, it still was the railway, although modernity was rapidly approaching. Happy days . . . . 😃😃

Indeed. Got an interest in railways as a young lad and witnessed the demise of steam during the 50s/60s, and then saw it happening to the early diesels that replaced it, so glad to have been able to film it with the arrival of the camcorder.
