Besigye says Museveni likely to remove presidential age limit

FDC Presidential Candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye has warned that the incumbent President Yoweri Museveni will not leave power.
Besigye made the comments during his campaign trail in Sironko district.
He was reacting to the President’s comments at a media briefing in Arua last week that he would step down if he lost in next year’s polls.
The question of the President’s tenure became a subject during the run-up to the 2006 elections as Presidential term-limits were lifted to allow him stand for a third term.Now the 71 year old President if elected next year, could find himself staring at another constitutional hurdle,the 75 year age limit.
