Vásznas technológia és pikírozott fazon esetén a készre vasalás során meg van vasalva a törésvonal? Én úgy tanultam még/már hogy a törésvonal feléig meg kell vasalni, csak az a termék bevasalt közbéléssel készült, nem tudom a vásznas fazonnál máshogy van-e. (Ifjú férfi szabó kérdezi)

From what I have seen on other tailoring videos, John James betweens number 7 is a popular needle. Betweens is the name of the type of needle. It’s a short needle that lets you sew fast. For basting stitches you’ll probably need a thicker needle. From most sources it seems that single thread is used.

I just watched a very very disturbing documentary made on tanning practices or tanneries and the horrible conditions and thug like corruption where all the leather for Prada Gucci etc come from. It was upsetting. I love the beautiful craftsmanship of all you show in your videos but I am concerned about the part of raw materials.
