Located in the Piccadilly Arcade right off of London's famous Jermyn Street, Budd Shirtmaker has been outfitting some of the world's best-dressed for over 100 years. In today's video, we get to watch how senior cutter Darren Tiernan drafts a bespoke pattern completely from scratch.
As part of this series, we also visit the Budd Shirtmaker workshop in Andover where all of their shirts are crafted by a small and dedicated team of seamstresses.

Fantastic shirts. Kirby have you thought of taking a trip to Frank Foster shirts in PALL MALL London. He did all the shirts in James Bond early movies including ones with the the cocktail cuff. Unfortunately he passed away a good few years ago his wife who has been making the shirts for 40 years plus is still making the along with her daughter. They also have some vintage shirting material although they are now running out. Might be worth a visit.

The armhole is so much higher than the one I drafted. I guess high armholes are a thing on shirts as well as jackets. Kirby, is it hard to get such a shirt on? do you have to put it on the same way you do a jacket?
