@Bishoptobe The feeling of suspense and drama comes from the fact the music is in the "Minor" mode as opposed to music in the "Major" mode. Blues, Jazz, Gospel, Rock&Roll, and the Slave Spirituals forms of music by Black Americans used a unique handling of the Minor mode to help express intense emotions.
