Good to see gw1 stuff being uploaded to yt. Whats the most profitable solo assa farm in your opinion?

Now ectos have value again, idk for how long though, in short: if ecto price is high uw(chaos plains) is profitable, if ectos are cheap you get more from feather farm for instance. Otherwise no1 solo farm Nick the traveler(20e/ week)

Okay, i'm fairly new to gw and i have a question. Is there any way to farm/clear mages and ranged overall without struggling too much? I mean, i love the guide and such but even without 10k hours preparation, without even any solid armor/weapon (i just reached 20lvl) i don't struggle against melee mobs as dervish - just pious renewal+pious attack and block enchantment mainly (+some other). Yet every time i meet ranged mobs, especially mages, especially mesmers - it's a gameover: they don't stack together, they usually deal more damage than melees, they hex as hell so you lose 80% hp before even reaching them and remove enchantments too so your rotation's in shambles. What exactly am i supposed to do as a solo player? Without obvious "bring an army of allied NPCs". If dervish can't, what other classes can do it? I mean melee classes...

against casters if you plan on soloing them vow of silence, shadow form, obby flesh etc work well

Are they any easier to set up/reach farms for a returning player just trying to get enough gold to buy armor and runes? I know you can just us a signet of spirits build to farm areas but im not sure where

1. Nicholas the traveler - do it every week, sell the 5 gifts(1 gift is like 2 ectos each), 100k profit in less than 1 hours 2. feather farms, specially Sensali birds in Jaya Bluffs, there are vids about it on youtube

Solo farming increases drop rates for certain items that are exempt from loot scaling. This link explains it better: guildwiki.fandom.com/wiki/Loot#Loot_scaling. Basically, it increases the chance of getting rare drops when you're solo.

if you want a duo farm try dervish (vow of silence) and a monk for prott and smite buffs(+some active dmg skills, if it is a real player) works well. for example you can easily farm the whole fow to the endchest - pumpkin pie makes it much faster

what happened to 600 monking? is it fully broken now?

holy wrath, the engine of the old 600/smiter build is nerfed, it ends after around 10 hits, ergo you cant kill foes as efficient as before, iirc this nerf was in 2012
