Great guide, as always. Probably the only farm I'm too stupid to. 19/20 times my W dies just as he strikes. I get nuked by traps and with the attacks the sigil ends, so I die before the mobs and get 0 loot. The degen is just too much and then I get wound from assassins. My solution for my problem: Use endure pain instead of sigil. Works like a charm for me.

I'm completely confused as to how a bo staff is worth 3600 ectos? I'm a returning player with a couple of Eblades, a few BDS, Emerald blade, 2 Obby Edges a few VS's, Frog Scepters Eternal shields, Storm Bows, Chaow axes and many other rare weaps. I's been 4 years since I've played. Is it the stats? and the fact that they are on a bo staff?

try to farm a 20/20 hct earth q9 earth bo staff and you'll see why such drop is worth thousands of ectos :)

I've looked at multiple videos and tried this with multiple different hero build layouts, always get whiped in HM. Can only do NM. Not sure if nerfed or not.

took me a while to figure it out, but if i tag my healer heroes spread apart on the SOUTH side of the enemies, i always succeed... Weird.

just complete the quests in NM and stop at this quest, then turn on HM and u can farm

@ Amazing! After doing nm and hm back to back with ranger i saw this video. Lol! It works like a charm. One thing tho, when I run, I don't even get half mobs as you get. They are on the other side of the stairs and I run as fast as I can, they don't all come to the same spot. May I be running too early??

Question, What if you used a spirit to body block one side of the stairs. For example, put vampirism (probably to the right, and stand slightly to the left off center) slightly to one side and back a bit. That way it doesn't get hit by traps? I've also found i can just start attacking with a vos derv and I tend to do ok with the healing of "Grenth's Aura". Curious your thoughts.

Hey Peter, about the goldies, how can I know if my item is OS? I all add the most of my gold weapons are coming from the chests in EOTN. And once I know if they are OS how to know their value? I mean I know the rare skins but for example I dont get why your Bo stuff was so expensive ;p

hey, in short the items u get in proph and in factions are all oldschool, since the inscriptions were added after these 2 campaigns were introduced. From this comes that nightfall and eotn give us ins weapons. About ' the which item to keep topic' and 'why the bo worth lot' i'll make a video probably in january, but generaly speaking: wands, staves, focuses should be 20/20 of their attribute, shields 2 mods or 1 mod bur very rare skin and 15/50 or +5e on the martial items(sword, axe, bow etc) but it all depends on the ski ns too, so rare skin+perfect mods=great drop, hope this helped :)

A question about blocking: Do tonics change your model-size when transforming and maybe allow you to block more enemies? I tried the Destroyer-tonic and it MIGHT have looked like I blocked a bit more enemies.

just do the quests in NM, stop at A chance Encounter (18th quest iirc) and turn on HM, it takes 2-3 hours only

imo its better to buy them from rune trader/players and get the money from something else, if u wanna farm ww-s at all costs, tu can try the skree farm or the kournan farm (vids on my channel)

Hey, Not sure if you still check these comments. Why exactly did that particular Bo Staff go for so much money? Is there some class that utilizes Earth Magic Cast Time Reduction and +7 Armor vs. Elemental Damage? That Doesn't seem super crazy to me, and also isn't missing an entire staff Wrapping or something?

hi, only the inherent hct 20% earth mod matters, all the other mods can be easily replaced why so valuble? try to get a similar staff and u will see :D In this case: the staff must be q9, must contain a half casting time of xx spells mod, it must be 20%( a LOT of the times its 19%), must be also corresponding to the staff's attribute( many times you dont get earth +earth but earth+water or other useless variants) etc etc only rarity is what matters in this oldschool weapon topic

nothing, same drops, just turn on Hard Mode before you start the quest :)

if iron is expensive, then it is worth it, especially from low value blue, white, purple items

Why are you not using Vow of Strength?

The problem with Vow of strength: enchantments are easy to remove and on the long run, you'll run into that many times. A well timed ench remove and your spike is gone :/ Trust me I've tried both VoS and 100b, the latter is more consistent.

Great video. I started doing this farm in NM with a worse VoS build this week so nice timing. :D Is it worth it to complete the NM quest so I can try in HM instead? And how do I know which of those is golds are worth selling to other players? Looking at yours I can't pinpoint why they are so expensive. :o Do you already have a video explaining this topic?

Thank You! In order to farm the quest in hard mode, complete the first 17 quests in NM, then simply click on ' HM'. No reason to finish the Woc quest line in HM, unless you want the extra hero. About what to keep I don't have a video yet, but generally speaking: 10/10 or 20/20 half casting time mods on spells -> if the staff is fire req, then the hct has to be fire as well. Also 2 modded shields/wands/offhands. Usually a non perfect mod, or 2 non perfect mods don't gather much interest. I advise making a collection like I did and uploading to GW Legacy, really this is the best you can do these days. I'm gonna do a vid about it, just have other ideas now. The lower the req, the more you'll get. req 13,12,11,10,9,8
