Hands down a killer value in this new refresher to the HS70 SE's. Honestly didn't think it was going to be as good as it is. Also definitely gotta stand on the quality of the build and components used. I do believe it would be very difficult to find a better built, feature rich wireless headset at this price range. @@Tanman0717 I like them! Comfy around the ears, nice sound and i havent heard any complaint about my mic from my friends. The range is good for gaming, but if i leave the room i lose my connection after just 5m. Dont care so much for that tho.

Does your pair lack bass on the right side, too? I just got a pair and there's no bass coming out of the right earphone. Is this normal??

@@matthewrittenhouse1387 No not that I know of. I have just been gaming with them, no music, but if I had lack of bass I think I should have noticed it. Look on KZbin on a bass-test or headphone test, then they play bass first in one ear, then the other. So you can compare!

@@snyggfredrik I did the headphone test yesterday. I'm going to the retailer I ordered it from on Monday. I'm just worried they'll try and say that this is normal and refuse to exchange. When it arrived at my home, the package wasn't even in a box. They just bubble wrapped it. The retail box had visible damage. bends and what not.

I've got Sennheiser HD 4.50. They are under 100 aswell. exceptional equality also noise-cancelling. All though a little uncomfortable after long hours of gaming, but it all depends on the person head. This is based on my opinion everybody's diffrent but I can honestly say they are better than most bigger brand headsets and there studio quality very good for Modern Warfare. They also have 3D audio which I did not know at the time of purchase.

Bought a pair of these for my partner to try. He plays Modern Warfare, EFT and Apex. I hope these can provide him with better sound quality for these games because you really need to hear what's going on in those games. Yes I love the hs70 pro's I use them on my phone with a usb-c to 3.0 otg cable. I use them on my PS4 and PC. The only warning I have is Don't lose the USB dongle! Otherwise there a paper weight!

should be getting these. I have a CORSAIR - VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Over-the-Ear Headset. I like the color as well. one thing I can see, the usb port on the headset. wonder why not just go with the new usb c. I get it for the mic, but not for the charging/wired connection. i also still like having a the mic to raise to mute or at least a button on the mic itself to mute. probably more a preference i like. but i like to raise mic if i am going to eat and have that mute. but excited to get these to try out now. thanks for a great review.

I'm not a gamer per see, but after one year of hour longs Zoom calls, it's time to invest in a proper headset. I was a live sound-engineer by trade and let me say, that microphone is absolutely insane for the price. I do wish it was omnidirectional because that's just better for such close proximity, but then you pick-up more noise, so I think Corsair made the right move there. They look super-pro and not like a cross-over between a kawaï japanese toy from the 80's and a futuristic war-machine. Thanks for the great review!

I recommend them they have nice sound quality and u are able to hear way more things in competitive games like Cs or Valo compared to a basic headset. There's also options that you can optimize the sound the way you want.

I have the Corsair void pro wireless headset, after three months the wireless dongle began to disconnect repeatedly and make the headset audio terrible and unusable. Hope that’s not the silver lining with this set as well. Is it possible to just wire them with the 3.5?

The PRO is even better than the SE one, I have the SE and I'm grateful for it even if I'm currently using the Razer Nari as my daily driver. Only issue I had is that the earpads seem to get loose with time but what I did is just glue them back, not the best fix but since it's a budget one it was worth it. I think it's honestly worth the price, just had the earpads problem.

I just bought it based on your review and I have to say they are indeed pretty good. Only negative thing is the iCUE software that seems to use 10% of cpu all the time. Is there any wait to fix that? And if not use it completely will they just run at the standard profile?

For me they are comfortable but I can't speak for people with bigger ears, sound quality is great for the games I play like call of duty, destiny 2 and apex. I owned the corsair h50 a while back and I didn't want to upgrade to these because there wasn't anything wrong with them but the ability to change sound preferences and mess around with the equalizer and the fact they are wireless won me over and I gave my old ones to my son who still uses them. I use these headphones to listen to music when I'm one the go or in the house as the quality is so much better than my earphones.
