I got this as my first eboard and it does not dissapoint. I'm 180 lb and with my backpack on it's still able to take me up steep hills. And once it gets up to speed I wouldnt want to go any faster. Really dumb move to market it to children. I wanted a lightweight board with a decent amount of power and this does a great job at that.

I have meepo v4 at hand, and am considering a light (yet stable) electric board for myself, and this sounds like a closet one!

No the wheels are not able to change, just keep in mind that the power will be much less than your V4 👍🏽

You know, seeing how this board is light as hell and uses a hub motor, you could probably easily kick push this thing and just use the motor to break or climb some hills to wring out extra range. I actually might consider this for taking on business trips.

I bought one switched the deck and made it run on drill batteries so I don’t have to worry about range I’ve ridden it 25mph on smooth flat road and gone 10 miles on two drill batteries

So I just got this and 20 miles an hour is way faster than it sounds 😭 I got speed wobbles and almost ate it. Plenty fast enough

Yeah anything over 15mph is fast on a skateboard but I mean 30 feels like 20. I mean anything after 15 is just kinda crazy

Some might question what's the point in a slower take-off speed, but for me personally, that tamer throttle curve is ideal for paths.

So with your experience with the boards you have tested what would you recommend as a first e-board? (In the 800< range) I ride my non electric longboard almost everywhere. I like long rides 7-10 miles, if that helps your recommendation. (Also I met you in Pensacola, keep pumping out the great vids bro 🤙)

Wassup! So 800 range it depends on that your terrain in your area is, if you like cloud wheel or street wheels. The best board for $600 is the backfire zealot, I’ve made a review on it already

@@billywalls5584 other than the zealot, I can’t really recommend anything else out there unless you’re looking for an actually AT board, I would recommend, if you have an AT board you have have pneumatics when you need it, and street wheels when you want it so it’ll literally be the last board you’ll ever need.

2 Instead of one Motors ≠ higher top speed. What's important is motor KV, Voltage, wheel size/Gearing and of course how the ESC is programmed.

@@xSynatiiC yeah I think that’s pretty obvious that one high performing motor is gonna be better than two of these, but in terms of these budget boards, 2 motors does equal higher top speed. Lots of boards in the $200 ish category have one motor making that a valid selling point.

@@wezter96 it’s designed with kids in mind, not to maximize for travel. i’m about 155lbs and my commute is about 3 miles so this is quite perfect for me. i have a mini 2 standard and don’t take it to class cuz it’s too heavy (gotta carry into class and up flights of stairs)

Well, when you’re my weight going max speed you get 20min, is to be expected with such a small battery

It makes way more sense to buy the teamgee h20 mini instead of this. For only $100 more, get way better range of almost 20 miles, and almost 30 mph compared to not even 20 on this. If you’re spending $300 on a skateboard, an extra $100 goes a long way.

The selling point is being able to take it on planes, and the H20 mini goes for 10-13 real world, and top speed is only 24, I even did speed tests on it, $269 is dirt cheap, if you only need a travel board

@@DruMarr for a travel board, this is definitely the best option if you need to fly. But if you wanna have a board to keep in ur car or something, the h20 mini is just a little bit more expensive for like 10 more miles of range, which is the most important to me on a mini board.
