Bersa Thunder .380 Plus. Holds 15 plus one and is more accurate than all of those shown here. Mine hits a 10” steel plate at 100 yards. Do that with all those other short barreled guns.

I have a LCP and a Glock 42. The 42 shoots better and is less snappy due to its size but the LCP is much easier to carry due to its size. Maybe I should try the Sig.

My preference? M&P9 Shield Plus. S&W has such a tiny 9mm (sub compact) I don't even bother with .380. You have 10+1 or 13+1 options on a 'pocket size' 9mm pistol.

Beretta CHEATA 84-BB 13+1 DA/SA LITE ACCURATE EAZY CARRY OR THE NEWER BERETTA CHEATA 80X DA/SA same count 13+1 , or GLOCK MODEL 28 gen.4 Single Action only. Same size and count as the G-19 but slightly thiner. The Beretta cost more but it's all metal super accurate and the best double action single action trigger on the market with a decocker type safe action , Beretta is like the Swiss watch very well made .

I have the 9 mm baby eagle and I love it. I put it up against a friends glock ( he is so in love with Glock and I hate them ) at the range, we decided to test the ease and accuracy of doing a double tap). He is in military service, fyi : the ratchet effect from recoil didn’t allow him to make effective double tap. I let him try my baby eagle and he wouldn’t let go. He sold his Glock’s and replaced them with magnum research desert baby eagles in 9mm. Such a difference.

These are horrible picks wtf? Shield EZ, Glock 42 and LCP Max are the only 3 passable choices. The 911, p238 are designs that make no sense in 2024 given the plethora of double stack sub-compact 380's available now. Almost everything on this list are pocket pistols from 2008/2009.

Kahr P380, small enough for shorts pocket carry, generally the smallest, mag finger extensions for shooting and no 'safeties' to get in the way.

Sig P238. I love it. Great trigger, easy to shoot accurately. Ultra comfortable to carry. Ditched the stock grips and made smooth ebony grips for it and stays in my grip well due to the checkering on the front and backstrap. Carry it condition one cocked and locked like my 1911.
