Where do you live? I ask because my second question; how long was the delivery speed? can you run me by the specifics? Time from buying it and the time to actually ship out, to the actual board being delivered. i purchased 2 Wowgo 2s boards on the 15th of april and it's expected the 25th. BUT the fedex tracking only says they've made the "label" in CA. can i expect the boards to be on time? what's your experience with the shipping > delivery?

They are probably too similar to compare. I would say it's down to price at that point. Currently it looks like the WowGo 2S is 10 bucks cheaper with the OFF20 discount code, so I'd say that. I guarantee they will perform identical.

Hi Chris - I'm on the verge of buying one of these, but... although I've done loads of snowboarding, I've never ridden a long board before... is the riding technique very different...?

From what I've heard it's a bit different, although it is very easy to pick up. It took me around a week from no experience with snowboarding or anything to ride an electric skateboard comfortably.

for US, EU and i believe a few other countries like some asia countries is free. i'm in US and it was free. a %15 incline is said to be "manageable" depending on rider weight and terrain

The $440 price is for the 'Powerful Samsung' battery or the least expensive battery they sell on their 2s. Also Wowgo copied the Ownboard which was the first to introduce the wheel remote and new ESC with the smooth braking/acceleration.

I'd rather have full control of the throttle and brake than let a slowed down "smooth" esc do it for me. It's great for beginners though. Instant power and braking is safer when you learn how to control it!

I hear what you're saying. At the same time, it is also more instant than the older ESC! The old ESC had this like .25 second delay, where as this one you feel the power the second you move your finger. Definitely a trade-off.

At the time this vid was made, WowGo sold both the WowGo2 model (now discontinued) and the WowGo2S model, the difference being that the WowGo2 still had a battery with a great amount of voltage sag while the 2S model had a newer battery with much lower internal resistance and that can provide much higher currents (aka torque). Base battery actually has the highest current capability with 44A burst ! Better than the 6.2Ah one which only gives 24A and the sanyo 20700 which can give a max of 30A. The funny thing is although range might be a bit shorter than the two other extended range batteries offered at a premium, the base battery is made of Samsung 20R which will have the highest longevity in terms of year lifespan and the lowest voltage sag (aka, lowest internal resitance) (meaning better performance in acceleration and top speed) of all three battery options. People who don't know lithium technology in dept would never know that, but it's a fact. Just look at all three cell type specsheets and look at internal resistance, voltage drop at similar state of charge and similar current draw... you will see !
