My GoPros are chin mounted on my snowmobile and have never failed,I ride at temps well below 0f and at high speeds,need to use the enduro batteries that the 12 comes with,Hyperview and max lens mod can’t be matched by cheap Chinese clones

Hello, I would like to ask which camera is the best for motovlogging? I’m planning to mount the camera on my helmet and I want it to capture the sound of the motorcycle engine clearly, without wind noise. I am looking for the simplest setup possible - I don’t want to deal with too many cables, additional connectors, or adapters. I want to achieve the best engine sound quality from the ride, without any unnecessary interference. Could you recommend a specific camera model and give me one reason why I should choose it? Too many problems with GoPro's. Dumped them all and went for the Action 4 (& Mic2). Simply Brilliant camera.

Osmo Action 4 all the way. I tried Gopro from my friend. the camera gives better colours than the stock setting on Aciton 4 but the maxlens bends anything close to it. If you have a post or a light its not straight its curved and quite aggressively. Didnt have the Insta gear to try out yet...

Hello. I want to live stream while fishing by sharing the internet from my phone. As far as I know, Gopro can also record to SD card while live streaming. Is there the same feature in Insta360 Ace pro , DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and DJI Osmo Action 4? Which one do you recommend for live streaming?

The X4 in 360 mode on the chest mount and used like a single POV looks amazing. I was set on it but the overheating issue stopped me. I live in a very hot climate(30C or more on average) and I'm scared I'd be just fumbling around with an overheating camera. Have you had any issues with it during extended recording?

Bro..summertime is 12C here in Norway 😂 overheating is not even on the table. Bit when i travel, like in the maldives 40C in the shade, i did have overheating and it recorded for 17min in 8K 30. Looking to test more in a month 👍

Hei. Takk for god video :-) Har du tips for beste action kamera for motorsykkel? Skal ikke lage kule effekter som 360 kamera gir. Skal ikke filme meg selv. Liker heller ikke fiske bolle effekter. Men ønsker best bilde med god flyt. Kjører MC i Spania. Og vil filme naturen foran oss der. Og lage KZbin videoer som jeg kan dele med MC vennene. Tenker og feste det foran på hjelmen. Så godt bilde og lyd er viktigst. Og lett og betjene i fart. Jeg har head set på hjelmen. Som tar i mot tale kommando. Og har blåtann. Kult om jeg kunne starte og stoppe opptak med og bare si start og stopp. Eller ved og trykke direkte på kamera. Batteri tid er viktig. Eller om jeg benytter en power bank direkte tilkoblet. Velger jeg Gopro 11 så har dette innbeygget GPS. Litt kut og få opp fart og logg på google map hvor man kjører/filmer. Bruker du medfølgende software som følger kamera? Dette er det få som skriver noe om. Jeg går vel ikke feil med og kjøpe DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro eller Gopro 13? Hilsen Øystein i Sande

Nice comparison, cheers. I have to say that all cameras look great but I still prefer the gopro colours/look. The X4's stabilisation (and all 360 cameras in general) is very off putting. It keeps the background un-naturally stable while the foreground is bouncing like crazy. You could see it even when the bike was stopped at the junction. Very off putting.

Always good videos from you, I don't motovlog but I mountain bike and I think the best option would be X4 due to it's 360. A single recorded video from the X4 allows you to post frame any angle you desire. No need to even worry about setting FOV, this alone I think would be an advantage over any other action camera for this purpose.

due to the smaller sensor the gopro shows the dashboard a lot more in focus than the larger sensor cameras. ace pro is sharp only past 80cm distance.

I love the X4, but I'm having a hard time with the "front" lens fogging up versus the "back" lens. I use mine primarily for recording my motorcycle rides. Anyone else noticing this?

The video is titled Best Action Cam for Motorcycle. Of course there will be engine sounds, it's fundamental for the test as audio separation is a real thing.

As a motorcycle rider I am thrilled that the engine sound is recorded because i have no interest in talking or trying to sound like an expert which most of the moto videos try to, by letting the engine sound speak for the video is what I expect from a ride.
