Got my Action 4 at the start of the year and I love it, such an amazing camera, it beats any GoPro I’ve ever had and the picture quality of it is strangely better than the Action 5 oh and in the UK right now the Action 4 is only £199 which is a bargain

Just bought The Action 5 Pro to pair with my pocket 3. The pocket 3 will be my main camera when I’m out and about but wanted a durable camera for more durable shots when hiking. Feel like I should get the Action 4 over the 5 with where the 4 is priced. Thanks for the video

I’ve seen so many reviews on the Action 5 and for some bizarre reason the Action 4 has better picture quality, it’s also much cheaper and not that much different to the Action 5

@ i have the 4 and used to have go pro 10. The 4 is much easier to use but I don't know why but I liked the go pro coloring more

@@NoFate247 yeah I agree the colour on the GoPro is much nicer and in a clear sunny day the GoPro picture quality beats every other camera but that’s about it, the Action 4 is great all round in the day and at night as the low light on it is way better than any GoPro

The Insta360 Ace vanilla was in the price range and still available from Amazon, I wanted to know how it held up against Action 3 and 4s

Imo better to buy action 2/3 than hero 10 🙂 maybe action dont have so many hyper lapse opinions but it better camera and yes action 4 is worth the money!

How is the overheating, I have been wanting one, but living in Florida and reading some of the reviews, I am winding will it overheat every 5 minutes.

@@KayachtLife I am in Florida as well and it will overheat around 10 min of static air. Moving it around or in a breeze can increase time a lot.

My concerns are always overheating, how does the action 4 hold up? Other concerns I have are more apps that I have to install, just to use a device. I hate that I have to sync the time of my GoPro with the app on my phone, it literally is the only reason I need the app. Do you find the Action 2 overheats easily, I will be in Florida heat using it, but would love it for a head cam, the other action cams are just to heavy over time. Do you have to run apps for the DJI action 4/5, I do have the Osmo 6 Gimbal and a couple drones so have 2/3 apps from DJI already. Even though the insta360 go3/3s didn't make list due to price, do you have to install and use app to use the camera. Thank you!

My action 4 has never overheated, continuous non stop recording in direct sunlight 26-28c, 4k (cant remember fps i use) from 100% batt to dead flat and never had it overheat unlike my hero 10. Chest mounted at 25kph so it does have a breeze on it.

@@Scootdogg_Vlogs Thats pretty impressive, I think I might have to try and get my hands on one and do a comparison for my use case. Hot summer fishing, sometimes a breeze sometimes not. With my GoPro 11 and 12 I can literally run all day using an external power supply, even in 90 degree weather. BUT that's using a media mod, with a usb cable run to my big KaYacht. For shorter trips I usually use a light kayak and that has no power at all. I am constantly turning the camera off and on and forgetting is it on or off and miss footage etc. If I could have a perfect set up it would be three cameras, that can run constantly for 1-1.5 hours AND/OR have reliable voice control capabilities, so all three shut off and on via voice command. My GoPros are hit or miss with voice commands and don't get me started on the crap remote I got to control them.

My Action 4 has never gone wrong the whole time I’ve owned it, not 1 single issue I’ve had with it, definitely the best for the price action camera out there right now

@@Coaster_Crazy did they update the webcam mode in firmware updates to include more of the standard settings or are you still locked into 1080p 30? I would like to pick up an Action 4 for studio or live streaming as well to stretch my limited budget.
