I'm hoping to land a job as a physical therapist assistant once I get my associates in Kinesiology, and I wanted to still attend school in the meantime until I'm able to get into a occupational therapy program. Really not for sure if things go as planned because I'm worried the Kinesiology degree wouldn't be enough to take me in that path.. great video bro!

To become a physical therapist assistant, I believe you need to have your associates through the PTA program at a college and then take a license exam. I don't think an associates in kinesiology will allow you to be a PTA

can you explain how it was getting your associates agree bc i’m currently a senior in high school and want to do kinesiology in community college to save money but also scared im going to get burnt out .

Yes I've seen many people transition into occupational therapy after receiving their kinesiology degree.

I'm learning massage. The idea is to work with emotional trauma stuck within the body. Psychology hs become quite costly. Thinking of switching to Kinesiology. Can you advise if that knowledge would help me better ve equipped to work with the body?

Massage and kinesiology do have some overlap. Kinesiology would be more focused on understanding how the body moves. You would spend more time understanding physiology, biomechanics, exercise science and anatomy (which you would have a good understanding of from massage). I would suggest shadowing a kinesiologist to see if it is something you would like to pursue.

If i want to continue a kinesiology major what should I take in community College to prep me for it?

I would recommend contacting the school you plan on going to for your kinesiology major to see what courses you need to take. Normally they are introductory science classes like chemistry, biology and physics along with introductory math. Hope this helps

Did we get any government job after a kinesiology degree?

It really depends on your country and experience in the field. If your a new grad it is much more challenging than if you have 5 years under your belt. There is always opportunities to become a case manager, program coordinators etc, but this varies from location to location.

As they do have a major role in promoting health and wellness. I'm here for a query, It would be highly appreciated if you'll be able to help me. I have done DPT. @@monikaoad6721 It depends on what clientele you would like to work with. There are many specializations you can get into as a DPT. From working with the geriatric population, to working rehab in a hospital with patients post orthopedic surgery. If you like sports, you can specialize working with athletes. Usually there are 1-2 lower level physics and math courses you will need to take during your kinesiology degree. You will need to pass these in order to get your degree.

It depends on your goals. If your looking to further your education and potentially be a physio, chiropractor, strength and conditioning coach etc, then getting a bachelors degree would be sufficient. If your goal is personal training, a certification course would be the better option.

@@dipanshudeb1537 the further you go with your education, the higher your pay will likely be. The area you live will also play a role. Chiropractors and physiotherapists will generally make a good wage in this field.

@@crackeddecimal7688 You need to pick a major that has a return on investment. You dont even need a kinesiology degree to pursue most of the careers that kinesiology majors pursue. Try and find a major that will teach you a valuable skill and has good job out look (computer science, engineering, statistics). You will regret a kin degree

Just _ Noah tried computer science and engineering and that was too hard, not everyone can do those jobs
