This is super random, but as someone who got really into PT but still wanted to pursue something in the arts I can tell you that science/kinesiology degrees are surprisingly applicable to animation.

Well how so. ? You are talking gaming animation?. What type if animation are you referring to ? Robotic programing ?

@@robertbrawley5048 sure. This would apply to gaming animation. Any sort of character animation (2D, 3D, games, movies...). You're bringing a character to life by giving it movement, so having a solid understanding of body mechanics, anatomy, and even physics is very useful.

These jobs DO NOT require additional schooling like grad school. But some of them will require you to study for a certification

Just want to let everyone know that kinesiology jobs are not limited to this. Kinesiology jobs can be very diverse that you might not find through research. Once you have the “kinesiology” experience and/or have other non related experience, you can combine your experiences for something u never thought of like business or land a job in Pixar Animation since kinesiology is a study of the body, they might need someone who studied it. I was lost before as I thought my degree is only limited to what was listed. Anyways, you got this 👌

@@Mirabel5 from what I know and experience, there’s lots of opportunities in Corporate Fitness. Big companies like Nike, EAsports, Google, etc can be your clients and you can be at their site to manage the employee’s well being and/or fitness. Some higher positions, u can even receive the same benefits as regular employees like stock options,etc. Once u have enough experience with handling clients, u can even land jobs outside kinesiology that handles clients like business, marketing, or other client-based jobs. U can even land jobs in professional leagues like NBA, NFL, MLB etc. These are just examples, It’s so diverse.

No, it’ll surely be more difficult though. Breaking into the sports industry is very dependent on connection so you should make some. In addition to this you should probably try internships and doing other certifications to look good on a resume when you apply for sports jobs. I’m also interested in the sports industry but I’m working on my bachelor’s in supply chain and logistics technology. Very unrelated but the same still applies.

You can definitely get several of these jobs with an associates. You may have to get an additional certification tho (like personal training). The only ones that you wouldn’t be able to get would be exercise physiologist and any managerial position like director

That’s what they say. I switched to KINES from a nutrition major and felt like the degree was next to useless in getting a solid career with a decent salary. Thank god I found OT, and my degree checked off tons of the prerequisites for programs.

Yes this is true. If you want someone stable like a career with benefits, a bachelors is kines is usually not enough.

I cant believe that one has to have a Master's degree to become a physical therapist . . I do my own physical therapy learned from a Kinesiologist in a 20 minute secession. ..I can and have cured carpal tunnel syndrome, brutitus and abscesses tooth by applying as much pressure as I can for as long as I can . Typically length of pressure applied is in seconds ten seconds maybe 30 seconds at the most . I haven't had good luck with knee injury mainly because I can not self apply enough pressure on the most tender area with a ballpeen hammer

@@drjustinleedpt I was one of 4 people ( friends) that jump on the Band wagon that one iof the four figured out that kinesiology was a good therapeutic procedure. Out if the four who went to Doctor Ferrari I was the only one that received benitits fromm the procedure. I think or reason that waste case is because I was the most disfunction of our group the leader of the group . The one who found out abou Ferrari, Dr of Chiropractor was mostly going to kinesiologist to identify allergies . He got no results from Dr. Ferrari. That was about 1985 $125 for the first visit $75 for subsequent visit . After the second visit he told me not to return " I have done all I can for you" but cheer up I believe that today $300 a visit would be reasonable . Maybe even $600. And you could pad the bill with useless Xray . So yeah I think you and your subscribers made an excellent choice for getting an education as long as you don't limit yourself to wellness

@@drjustinleedpt I'm the only one out of four friends that experience great results with the Chiropractor /kinesiologist. I'm a true believer. But it depends on the severity of the learning disability I guess . That is why I went to him but while there he demonstrated the importance iif "tender spots"
