Glad to hear your thoughts on Generic Perfumes. I've ordered from them a couple times and was happy with the quality of their products. I enjoy their version of Gypsy Water so much, as it had a slightly rosey-geranium smell on me for some reason; apparently not in the original scent but I love it that way. Thank you for taking the time to compare these oils to their original fragrances! Have you ever ordered from Universal Perfumes and Cosmetics? (I think they are a related company, but could be wrong). P.S. Lovely to see your friend Julie back!

I personally prefer universal mainly because I’ve been ordering from them for years and the owner is very transparent about the quality differences between the tiers and their pricing when you buy the sample packs is much much better especially for premium. Their Luzi/Premium oils are Generics A+ and Generics A++ are Universals ultra premium. The difference in the tier I assume with both companies and not just universal is that the higher tier is more concentrated and even closer to the original. Unfortunately generic has no A+ or A++ sample packs so it’s not just convenient for me to order from them...

This was so helpful and amazing! I’d love to see a similar breakdown of some oil perfumery scents, which I’ve bought at your recommendation- some are great and others aren’t as good. I loved this format of analyzing each one for dupe similarity and scent profile. I hope you’ll do the same format with other brands (like oil perfumery).

@@cynthiavillegas8845 OMG yes! They last a very long time when sprayed on clothes and have fairly good longevity on the skin. I find the solid lasts just as long as well. I'm very happy with the ones I got 🙂

@@ploveee9859 I have now ordered oils, sprays and solids from Generic Perfumes. They all perform amazing and last all day. I have so many from Oil Perfumery too. I've ordered scents from GP that OP does not have so I don't have comparable scents to know which are more like the originals. Everything I've ordered from both sites have smelled great though!

A+ oil perfume means there is more long lasting ingredient in the perfume.there is certain oils that are used for long lasting affect in The perfume.

Just a tip! :) If you are going to buy the perfume sprays it's best to leave them in a dark space for a couple of weeks to a month. Then they will perform much better and they become stronger over time!

I lived in Dubai, I rarely bought original designer perfumes I used to buy oil perfumes and I am known for being perfume and incense addict supper 💘 for oil perfumes. Oil perfumes are much better and stayes longer in the hot weather that is why in the middle east oil perfumes are used more than the regular perfumes and au de toilets

Male dupes are as good as the female targeted ones! Just search A+ class from their sites. A+ is the quarantine for equal and long lasting of the douped fragrance.😊

What a great video! Never thought of using these dupe sites to revisit discontinued fragrances but will 100% try out the Miss Dior Cherie from Generic Perfumes (in addition to a few others). I know this is for the oil house but I’m truly searching a spray parfum strong thats cheap but is also 3oz not spending like 45 on 1oz?? Do you have a fav dupe house besides the roll on oils? I’ve only tried In style perfect scents (their opium dupe ) is actually darn good and for only 12$!! Has anyone tried the spray perfume versions? I hate roll-ons (gross- skin cells and bacteria get in) and sometimes oils are messy, so I prefer spray perfume. I just want to make sure if I order the sprays that it is worth it and esp worth the huge shipping cost!

Hello there thanks so much for your comparison videos as im discovering GP recently, i purchase many perfume oils too elsewhere. Most often, some, but not all, needs 10-15 minutes for the scents to develop. Things like Chloe, Chanel oils that i have (from another company), at the first 2 minute impressions, i often say no way its similar, but after 10 minutes, its 1:1. Did u give Bal D'Afriques inspired oil a try after 15 mins too and does it still not smell 1:1?

The timing was edited, we smelled each fragrance for well over 5-10 minutes. We also smelled them all thoroughly prior to filming so these are not the first impressions that they appear to be :)
