Thanks mate! I´m german, but have no problems at all with English. The AI translation sounds like a cheap click bait ad for chinese plastic rubbish, so it´s definitely more comfortable to listen to the original.👍If someone needs support, i reckon the translated subtitles will do an ok job!

Great video, great selection of watches!. That PD looks pretty good, didn't know about it. And now its on the list! That Wise looks exceptional though, also now on the list. I have the Erebus Ascent (purple) and Direnzo's Aerolite 2 (orange), but still, nothing comes close to my black MoP IXDAO Engineer. I know it was released a few years ago and has copyright problems but with the SW200 its a bargain but incredibly finished stunner. Hoping though that the Venezianico Arsenal in purple (when it arrives) exceeds expectations!

@ Yup. Or I was hoping they would make a GMT with their 38mm Origin. I love my original Origin, but I didn’t want to get another watch with basically the same dial. But I will most likely get his Field and Chrono.

Great review.I own an ascent , am also in the process of buying one or two San Martin's as well. One watch that missed the cut in this review but is close is the Watch Dives brand that has been getting plenty of air time on reddit, however in my opinion it misses the mark by having Push pins in it's links and ships with a flimsy Temu type link adjuster that is sub optimal and wobbly.

I have a G-Steel full analog. Solar, Bluetooth, swappable GMT dial. Absolutely great for under 400 bucks. I also have the WISE Adamascus AD8. Absolutely great! And the WISE Hitman. So good for the price. And I got the Erebus Ascent Aventurine for the preorder price. Very good watch. Addiesdive is always a good affordable option. Absolutely unbeatable. 🕐⚙️🍸

Between the San Martin and the Erebus, I’d pick the San Martin, any day of the week. Much nicer looking, better finish, and doesn’t hide the fact it was made in China, unlike the Erebus, which calls itself a microbrand, yet is entirely made in China. Jody’s name to it doesn’t make it a microbrand IMO. It’s another Chinese watch with a better name than most.

What I can not do is buy a chrono with anything but a VK-67 with a useful, historically correct, 12 hour totalizer like my Baltany. A 24 hour dial is an INSTANT DEAL KILLER for me. Better a bi-compax rather than the dial wasting and ridiculous 24 hour dial. Thanks for the vid!

I would add Phoibos Delphinus to this list - affordable (esp. when you buy it in early release discount), Miyota 9k movement, nice design, not too big with 39 mm.

I kind of agree I think I like the look of the Tsuyosa sub seconds, especially with the guilloche pattern, better than the Forza and they are close enough that you don't really need both.

First of all, I don't think we can refer to a watch as an investment but a pleasure. There are so many below 1000€, I would have said a Glycine Airman, it has all the heritage you want for a very reasonable price

I'm dissapointed with my Citizen Forza. Wears smaller than it is. Clasp is a letdown, very (too) light and the dial to me isn't as good as it looks on screen.

I'd consider the 36mm version of the San Martin but I won't buy a watch with a fumé dial. Most (all) of the others are too big for my taste.

En ayant commencé les montres il y a quelques mois, j’en ai 2 dans la liste 🤩🤩 1 que je n’aurai jamais, la gshock, je ne supporte pas ces montres Et non plus la citizen titane car j’ai la tsuyosa petite seconde. Ça fait un peu doublon J’aime bien les autres. J’attends que la San Martin en rouge revienne au catalogue à un prix plus adapté. Et les autres sont aussi très belles

Want to see reviews of Herbelin Newport and watches by Charlie Paris. French watch brands outside of Baltic are very rarely reviewed. These are better than micro brands. They are made and assembled in France. Additionally a Wise watch with 903l steel will scratch as easily on this as a Rolex. A Traska or watch with DLC coating won’t. So if one takes away this from Wise it is nothing but a Chinese watch with a Thai branding. I would take a 316 steel watch with DLC coating any day over 903 steel. And I would take any watch assembled outside China with 316 steel over one made in China such as the super thin Herbelin Newport and Charlie Paris with Swiss movements under $1000
