Hey Color Up! I just wanted to thank you for these videos. I’m not new but still a beginner at Craps. I was just in Vegas and I was able to utilize the Triple Lux strategy (did it until I made about triple my initial bet and then I would pull everything off and just play the lay on 4). I was able to turn $300 into $825. It was such a fun strategy! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Jeremy, I think if just pressed up one number we would get that third hit faster. As in regardless which number hit 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 - we use the winnings to press the 6 to $90, then work on the 8 to $90 etc.
@ColorUp2 жыл бұрын
Yep. That would be a great option if trying to get “out of the hand” as quick as possible. once that accomplished you could continue pressing up your number of choice, or let the dice decide what numbers get pressed. I believe he does it this way in case a number like 9 keeps rolling, you would win big off of it vs trying to pick a number guessing what will hit once you press. But to recoup your money fastest, your suggestions would be an improvement I agree with.
@felixsoheili11542 жыл бұрын
You might enjoy the CQ Cliffhanger strategy. You still play 96 across but let's say you hit the 4 for 30 you would pay the vig and take the bet down and place it on the "9" and make it a $60. You hit the 9 and it pays $84 you would then go back to $96 across and triple lux, double tap or whatever you like to play it's house money

@@ColorUp For proportions to be correct, actually what the dice bettor is going for is a grand slam ( not merely a “home run” ), and that, after making a show of pointing center-left ( and Calling His Shot ). It amounts to grandstanding, is for dice bettors with more bravura than brain matter, and is fun for the idle rich, for whom crashing and burning matters not a bit.

You'll probably like the Double Tap system then whenever CU puts the video out. It does exactly that - after first hit, you power press. Second hit, you collect and down your bet back down to initial level. The downside with Double Tap vs Triple Lux is that after the same number of rolls it takes Triple Lux to collect, the Double Tap is still behind 1 Power Press ($90 on a 6/8 on TL vs. $42 on the Double Tap with TL having collected $105 and DT only having collected $73)

The average roll wherever I’ve gone is not 8.5. You have a 1/6 to get the seven and your come out roll takes the first roll. You need to go on a huge roll (your last roll was like 17) and you barely broke even …

Get on a table when a monster roll of 40 or more numbers is about to unfold (minimum horn numbers), pressing aggressively and this strategy results in huge gains. This is the strategy every serious craps player yearns to win with. The bigger your initial outlay the bigger your gains. If only I was at Borgata that fateful day in May of 2009 when Patricia Di Mauro set the world record of 154 rolls in 4 hours. This strategy would've paid for a home, in cash.

Jeremy, thanks for doing this one. I have seen David’s Triple Lux vid; but this is a really nice combination of the explanation (which David does) and the roll outs (which also helps reinforce the pressing increments). On suggestion : I really appreciate you adding the “tally” of the rolls on the right of the screen… however could you slide the tally away from the screen edge just a bit. On several of my devices the Roll tally is not readable as the screen formatting cuts it off. If you scoot it over just a bit away from the edge it will be visible on large screen TVs as well as cell phones. Thanks also for doing it with a $15 minimum. This is helpful. This is how I look at attempting to get three place bet hits before you seven out. The craps roll is on average 6 rolls 50% of the time. The first roll is always the point, three rolls will be a place bet number, one roll will be a craps or 11, and one roll will seven out. The chance of hitting three rolls in a row without a 7 is less than 60%. The chance of not throwing a seven in 5 rolls is less than 40%. A bettor that always has place bets for at least three numbers is hoping that the seven comes out only after 8 or more rolls. I don't like across the board betting because more than half the time a bettor playing in this way will lose his entire bank in less than 10 minutes, if the shooter throws a 7 in four rolls or less which does happen more that 25% of the time. It's much safer to have only one or two place bets without a pass line bet or a pass line and only one place bet. The point of the matter is that you are risking losing a lot more money much faster in hopes that you don't seven out within four rolls. I understand that most bettors are always gambling that the seven does not come out for a long time or that the seven only is thrown before the point is established, but we all know that the casino will try different methods to try to seven out all the time.

Is there a Video on Craps Terminology? Like what the differences are between phrases like, Bump up, press, power press, & other terms/words? Also, can you display how you're suppose to throw the dice & how they're suppose to hit the wall & table? I've seen players, Setting the dice & throwing it between their 3 fingers for more control & accuracy. Others just shake the dice it in their hands & toss it. Is it legal to set the dice numbers?
@ColorUp2 жыл бұрын
Craps terminology would make a good video. As far as how you toss them, really no big deal, just get them to far end of table with enough force to hit wall. There are many that believe they can set the dice and grip and toss in a way that gives player advantage. I don’t teach that but many on KZbin you can check out. If the player could get the advantage that way, casinos would not allow or would change rules. They do allow and it’s legal. My opinion, it certainly doesn’t hurt to try.
@FatalFreeman2 жыл бұрын
@@ColorUp Yeah, I heard that all that dice grip stuff does is try to lower the randomness of getting the 7 in 6 rolls or something along that line with the math & odds. Does it matter exactly where you throw the dice at the wall? I heard that you have to hit the high part of the wall, but i have no idea if that's true. As long as you hit the wall, it shouldn't matter where you hit it, high low, middle, etc right?
@jrr70312 жыл бұрын
@@FatalFreeman So i do dice set, and despite what everyone tsays...the only way to actually prove it does work without anecdotal evidence would be to have a machine run it in real life. Everything would have to be controlled, and that is exactly what your trying to do with dice setting. Throwing the dice, so they rotate on the same axis...together....with the same force, landing in the same spot and bouncing off the same spines on the wall, at the same angle...with the same "rebound" velocity....*EVERY SINGLE TIME* the math should show that given the right parameters...the 7(based on your dice set up) should roll less than statistical over X amount of tosses.
@FatalFreeman2 жыл бұрын
@@jrr7031 Thanks for the reply & info, it makes perfect sense the way you explained it, Appreciate it. Yeah, That would be very difficult to get 100% control, accuracy, speed, & the placement of the dice to hit when throwing them from your fingers without a machine. I wonder if any human could actually do it 100% of the time or very close to it. Out of curiosity, if you did 100 rolls of the dice as a test, in your experience, how many times does the 7 come up for you? what is the longest streak you've gotten without 7 coming up?
@jrr70312 жыл бұрын
@@FatalFreeman i did a set of 100 rolls, but i cannot honestly say it was not accurate because i didn't have the same conditions as the casino(felt mat, alligator backboard etc) although i did use the laser cut, casino dice and set an x for my target area. My most common number was a 9. With...I think....40/100. I rolled a 7....12 times. It almost falls in line with the 16% chance. I only had 7 back to back twice. My longest streak was 27. Well a hard way bet would cause you to have one less way to lose if the 4/10 is rolled. But long term math says that hard way bet will lose more money. sure, different strategy. more conservative. great for shorter rolls, miss out on longer rolls.

@@wiseman4160 and @color up love to do the double tap (get out of the hand) and then the triple lux

Depends on my mood, and my goal for that particular trip.
@ryanhall4892 жыл бұрын
on the double tap I power press the six and or eight no matter what hits and if i power press both and neither hits then i pull down after the third hit on any number. then triple after that

Nice idea, but too rich for my blood. I would try this on a $5 table though.

if you have an addictive personality I would agree with you. But for many it can be a fun night of entertainment. Just like dinner and theater, but sometimes you get lucky and win at the casino

This play is NG, takes to long to gain $. Great on paper. Not for me
@ColorUp2 жыл бұрын
Its not about quick gain of $, its about positioning for huge score with a long roll. not every strategy will be to your taste
@Naga272 жыл бұрын
If this "takes too long", then maybe craps isn't the game for you? Outside of parlaying 2/12, the biggest wins come from long rolls. If you want quicker action, maybe play roulette? Chamba In & Out seems like it would be good for you

Holy schneikies... Just hand the stickman your money and ask him to whack you upside the head to "Teach me a lesson about gambling" Playing this strategy will obliterate your bankroll if 7's show up on their normal schedule of 1 in every roughly 6 bets. God help you if you do this system and then a 7 shows up in the next 3 or 4 rolls. You're screwed and broke.
@ColorUp2 жыл бұрын
Right, like I explained. This is a very aggressive strategy hoping for the home run vs singles. Most strategies need an above avg roll to succeed.

Many times yes, but sometimes no, and it wins big. Just depends on your style of play if you are conservative or aggressive.
