Hopefully, they avoid repeating the mistakes of their predecessors: The Brilliant Frame had lackluster/terrible lenses hardware and open-source software, but it turned into a weekend project just to make it functional. Brilliant’s marketing overpromised with CGI demos that set unrealistic expectations-similar to the vibe of this video. Even Realities G1 featured great lens and display hardware, but fell short with awkward controls behind the ears and poor software. The basic dashboard, advanced translation locked behind a paywall, and lack of support for running custom LLMs were major drawbacks.

I am very interested in these glasses and am ready to pre-order early. However, there are still some questions I couldn't find answers to. I would like to know which 40 languages can be translated. The most important thing for me is whether they can translate different languages into Chinese.

Wihtout an 8K hidden camera to be able to understand what you are seeing and explain it it really can't do much. Plus it should be able to take up huge 1 GB PDF files like other A.I., analyze them and reply accordingly like other A.I. can. If you could do that and add secretive voice mode then it would be the best in the market.
