Overall Jenni,ai is a great tool in the way the website works and lets you structure your text. I have tested it and I must warm that if you use it for references about half of the papers and citations it produces are fake. They do not exist, thus the text is being made up. Laos all of the text is very easily picked up on AI detection tools. You will need to write what is produced into your own words. It works great for creative writing structure writing.

Using AI as a research tool, specially in doctorate leve, I don't know, it all depends on the school's policy. In some school, if you get caught using AI technology not only do you fail the class but get expelled enitely specially if you're in the doctor's program. The student does not create anything, it was just a copy and paste; a little change here; a little add there; even the ideas were not yours but AI. Some universities are very strict with students using AI that some have reconsidered offering online degrees because you can fake it so damn well. There's even a software where you can rearrange the words on your AI research paper with other synonym words to make your copy and paste research paper almost undetectable. Some AI softwares add footnotes. That's why some your universities automatically expel students.

You may say one thing but what matters most is what the university thinks of using AI as a tool for doctorate disseration, some universities do not allow it, others do. They have softwares to detect AI.

Now today we are knocking the doors of "Life with AI" but every single company is announcing their AI tools as if it is 100% ready to use but actually it is full of ****... For example Chat-GPT. It is now "Chat GPT 4.5 Turbo" or something... Most of the social media full of how good it is or this kind of AI tools but actually it is not giving you any correct answer. It just gives you "a" result. It doesn't know whether it's correct or not. If the answer is widely used on the internet because it is true and it works, we get that answer from chat gpt because it is all over the search results... If you go a little deeper, gpt starts selling you dreams... sorry for a long message and broken english of mine but this is how I feel vs ai tools...
