"Real modern or LARP" This multi era or fantasy stylish garment works great as a blanket, and is practical in it's design so that it can be worn while you do your work and keep you protected in all sorts of weather. The hood is a great addition for warmth, style and to keeping out the bugs.

Oh hey!!! This design is the exact same as was used by the Celts, they called this cloak a Ruana Shawl (except this one is much longer haha.) You can look up pictures- but how amazing is that? You came by the design in a completely original way, well done!! Great minds think alike 😄

The Celts did have various shawls or stoles that were similar but specifically the Ruana cloak originated in South America (Colombia if I recall correctly).

Yup, Ruana is handsdown the superior cloak. This one is longer and wider than most I have seen (Gandalfs is wider and longer yet), and I seen no other with a hood attached. I am glad, you're enjoying it.

If you add weights to each corner, Such as fishing weights about a quarter pound each, it'll hang a lot straighter And be able to be used as a tarp As well as your universal cloak. You do want it to be about a quarter pound so you can have some oomph when swinging And to prevent it from easily being blown away in the wind. And if you treated with hybrid phobic Materials the cloak could double as a small tent.

I was thinking The benifit of full blanket with hood is homeless should have these but wool is expensive to make human teepee with body warmth during emergency. I hung out and talked with one homeless vet who walked around with super thin tent liner as a walking blanket, cloak and weather blanket. He passed out drunk in the hard rain and was just fine.

The material is wool. You can get a blend of wool and cotton that will make it more softer, but the draw back is that is won't repel as much rain. 100 percent wool can be unconfirmable but is more resilient.
