Nice review as always... Looking forward/hoping for forthcoming reviews and giveaways on some of these great projectors. As living in Denmark, ordering from gearbest, and similar Chinese webshops can be living hell, and through Amazon it's not possible to have all products shipped to our country, so sometimes I've had relatives living in the UK ordering items on Amazon UK for me, then sending by mail afterwards. Nice review mate, very nice 480p projector...You talked about the design of the venting but forgot to comment on the Heat and Noise levels after testing

+Claud Ennin As for heat output will test that on the comparison video this vs the h96p, noise level wise it's performance was a solid 28db after 1hour of use hope that helps, I was just surprised they packed in usb3 gen1 Android 7.1 and touch control into a 480p projector, if that was 720p it would give the wowoto h8 a run for it money.

This projector is branded by a few different companies. I just purchased one off AliExpress. All of the listings I have seen for this projector state a 32GB max for the TF card slot. Usually, at least a 64GB card works with such stated specs, but can you confirm that a 64GB card does indeed work with this projector? I have also seen various specs for this projector list it as having a 4,000 mah, 5,000 mah, or an 8,000 mah battery. My research makes me think it comes with a 4,000 mah battery.

Nice review...as always. So you think this is the new king of portable 480p projectors? It just seems a little pricey to me. Your (and other) reviews are steering me towards the Toumei V3 and Wowoto t8e... though it would be nice to see them with upgraded RAM and OS

+Music Is My Medicine Yes but purely for the image quality the t8e is a true 720p, if it was an apple's vs apple's comprasion then this would win good menus smaller form factor and I pefered the track pad more on this. But all that said it's pretty expensive for a 480p pico.

I bought a C800S on Amazon.it; I used it one day doing classroom tests for PPT presentations and I was not particularly happy; I really appreciated being able to present the lesson via TF card and, therefore, bring only the projector to the classroom. I immediately returned the C800S and would like to take the D13 2G / 16G the same you presented in this video. I would like your opinion or your suggestion of a DLP, even spending more but with a better quality, good portability (pocket), with built-in battery and Android system. Thanks a lot.

Good review- thanks!!! This is really impressive - Android 7.1.2 on a portable projector with battery? Great. Too bad it doesn't have 720p native. I guess you can't have everything. Two questions if I may: 1. You already say that D13 has much better brightness then something like H96P and P8 which I was also considering and now, thanks to you, I have discounted hehe. I am after max brightness possible as I would like to use it in a not completely pitch black room. The other two contenders from China I have are: Aodin M8T (I think it's the same as Yuancin models around 190 quid on amazon.co.uk - at least they look same) and Toumei C800 and both of them are supposed to be the best pocketable projectors out there (especially the Aodin M8T). Is Yuancin D13 also 'much brighter' then those two please? Question 2. How does this D13 compare to ZTE Spro 2 ??? (let's forget the price). Is D13 brighter then then Spro2? Spro 2 has only 4.4 Android but it is 720p native and apparently very bright? Also has a full screen on top which is mega useful + sim card slot + hotspot. I just would like to know how it compares do D13 in terms of picture quality and max brightness - I want highest picture quality and brightest picture for the money (I can get Spro2 for the same money as D13). (I suppose that Toumei V3 is out of the question as it doesn't have battery built in so not portable at all. The same with Wowoto H8). cheers

+ARKADIUSZ MIKINA So to answer your first question the d13 is definitely brighter than most of these portable projectors I would say it brighter than the c800/ not sure about the m8t. I've no experience with the ZTE spro 2, looks very much like it's a gimmick above a portable projector, something like the wowoto t8e would be a much better experience all round plus getting I've been told an android os upgrade soon. Hope that helps.

And what about comparing them (their picture) side by side at the same time? That would be great as no one does it on youtube yet which is odd! (why no one has thought of it?). M8T is supposed to be the one to beat as it supposedly has 150 lumens. I almost sure that Aodin M8T (which is supposed to be the same as M8S) is the same as Yuancin D05B here: www.amazon.co.uk/Yuancin-Projector-Multimedia-Entertainment-Rechargeable-Black/dp/B073VSG14W/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1515846120&sr=8-3&keywords=yuancin&th=1 and it's available on UK Amazon, so maybe they could send it to you for testing and comparing it to H96P and Yuancin D13?? (in the same link I really dunno what is the C800S version and why the fk they would name this projector the same as Toumei did. Honestly, sometimes Chinese are really weird). Wowoto T8E? I have never seen that one! It's impressive as it's 800p native + has battery ("portability") + OS upgrade as you're saying. The only thing is that it's like 20cm x 12cm x 4cm so it 'stops being pocketable' which defeats it's purpose --> can't fit in the pocket = won't be carrying it with me that way = will keep at home = better to buy something that is powered by the charger/stationary only as it will have better brightness (wowoto h8, toumei v3, or even Alfawise X). Am I correct in thinking this way? Also, it has 0 reviews on gearbest. Is it some kind of a new product? I just wish D13 was in a different format which would make it more pocketable (rectangle instead of a square of 11x11x3cm). Still waiting for something really pocketable that fits in your pocket (think H96-P, Aodin M8T/Yuancin D05) which will have native 720p and be like REALLY bright. Although a year ago, Aodin T89 as well as Toumei C800 (C800i I think) were both 720p native. Now they downscaled them to native 480p. Why they did that is beyond me. ZTE Spro 2 a gimmick? Why do you say so? Seems amazing as it has the screen on it + SIM card so can use mobile internet on the go when no WiFi available. I mean, how good does it sound? It's also very similar to this Yuancin D13: same square format (13x13x3cm), same/similar 720p native, and apparenlty gets very bright. What's not to like? I think you should test it to see if it beats the Yuancin D13. cheers

I dont mean to ask so many questions but I also wonder what frame rate is and how it looks, it just looked like it had a minor on frame rate or is it just me? Also is this projector viewable in daylight and am I able to connect a mouse or alternate Android remote? Can you please do a comparison shootout between this and H96-P? Both displaying the same test material, at the same time on the same screen side by side in 2 test environments: 1. complete darkness 2. in the daytime with normal natural light coming into the room via widows (no blinds or shutters) and no artificial lightsources like bulbs/lamps etc That would be mega and it would show us if D13 is really worth double the money then the H96-P you reviewed already. The only thing they missed was do the same comparison but in normal daytime conditions (natural light through windows) and not only in pitch black. Also please don't forget to make 2 tested projectors 'equal' i.e.: -settings set to the same values (maximum brightness, same picture mode if available etc) -both projectors running on battery charged to 100% or both running on plugged in to the AC Also, when are you going to start measure the brightness of projectors yourself please? We all know most manufacturers lie so measuring that yourself is a must. cheers matey :)
