I watched No Time to Die in theaters which was incredible. So moving and so much fun to see Bond one last time. Also, I saw Children of Men for the first time. That blew me away, it definitely lived up to the hype. That one shot third act tho 🤯

Many folks out there are overhyping Titane. Thank you for pumping the brakes on that trend. It is VERY original sure but i thought it was way too awkward & random, esp the second half. It wouldve put it on my BAD tier.

Titane is a masterpiece, one of my favorites of all time now. Wouldn’t recommend it to general audiences. Last Night in Soho is my favorite movie of the year but Dune is extremely fantastic along with The Last Duel and I loved French Dispatch…Haha!

I saw a few films this month (and loved most of them) Keep in mind I haven't finished Dune yet. (I started watching it on HBO Max, but I haven't had time to finish it yet, so it's not on this list. But so far it would be about a B+ on the Great Tier) 7. Lamb: C+ (Meh Tier) - Visually gorgeous, but the story had a lot to be desired. Almost makes the okay tier, but I just didn't feel the payoff was good enough. 6. The French Dispatch: B- (Okay Tier) - Biggest qualm is I just didn't find it that funny, Still the amazing stop-motion Esque visuals make up for it. 5. Venom: Let There be Carnage: B (Good Tier) - Honestly, this was a total surprise. I didn't care much for the first one, but I had a lot of fun with this one. 4. No Time to Die: B (Good Tier) - Lost its legs in the third act for me a bit, but still loved it. Great conclusion to the Daniel Craig saga! 3. Antlers: B+ (Great Tier) - I'm in the minority on this one, but I thought this film was so inventive and clever. On top of that, it was actually scary. That imagery will be engraved in my brain for months. 2. Last Night in Soho: A- ( Awesome Tier) - This might be my favorite horror film of the year so far! I was mesmerized by this. The only reason this doesn't get higher is because of that boyfriend character. It's also a bit goofy at times. Other than that, love this movie! 1. The Last Duel: A (Awesome Tier) - Best movie of October by far! Did not expect to love this as much as I did! So mad that it bombed at the box office. They should've released it in November, IMO. The acting and screeplay are incredible!

I like army of thieves, better than the zombie one actually... and I love zombies movies lol...I'll keep one eye on the vhs cause I was about to skip it but now I need to watch it lol.. I'm sleeping on titane, lamb, the power of dog.. I'm tired at night Lol Halloween kills it was bad for me or at least meh... same with Paranormal activity I didn't watch it but after your review I feel like it's always the same stuff! I watched all but I'll skip this one With Dune I need to watch it again cause when I went to the teather I have to go to the restroom like 3 times LOL in the most interesting parts HAHAHA. But what i saw, it was kinda slow I was kinda getting bored tbh but i was trying to get into it... the story and like the world, atmosphere was very interesting but It kinda felt like the hunger games 3 but the first part, like they were trying to build the world and story for the next movies so it left me like hanging(? This is my ranking of October 2021 movies: #1. Dune: A+ (I've never seen the original Dune due to the negative reviews-which I see why. But this version was amazing! Yes, there was a plot point about the protagonist that was introduced late into the movie but the performances, the visuals, the characters, and the story are fantastic! The best of the October 2021 movies. Btw, coming from a Christian, Dune felt more Christian than GND: We the People...) #2. The Guilty: A+ (a fun and thought provoking movie where, to me, pulled off being self-contained and being all the way on the perspective of the protagonist's POV) #3. There's Someone Inside Your House: D (while I like the main lead and her boyfriend, I didn't care about the supporting characters and the villain's kills were inconsistent. And yes, I agree: why are these kids going to a party where there's a freaking killer on the loose and a curfew was established? Not one kid was in trouble for being out passed curfew.) #4. Hypnotic: F (I like the concept of hypnotism but it's awful-gave me False Positive vibes for some reason) #5. God's Not Dead: We the People: F (what a disappointing sequel and not because I expected it to be good-the trailer proved it wouldn't be. This movie's awful because it was on a good road from the 3rd movie-beong more nuanced and feeling more like a movie- to improve on their franchise and failed miserably. The worst of the October 2021 movies.)

Night Teeth. Had an excellent opening setting up the lore, the big struggle (Vampires and Hunters in separate territories) and the individual struggle (Vampires capture main character's girlfriend). Then the story switches to the main character's annoying little brother and we get to look at the sidelines. Some movies (Shaun of the Dead and Cloverfield) have character or stories that are still compelling from the sidelines. This movie was not.
