I have lived in Oceanside for over 30 years and love it…..however a suburb of San Diego…..as you know we are forty miles north of San Diego….we are located in San Diego County…..
@bruceeven9942Ай бұрын
As a long time resident in San Diego city and County, your descriptions needed more clarification. You treated Clairemont and Vista as suburbs, when in fact, one is a neighborhood in the City of San Diego and the other is a city by itself. I would have made the distinctions clearer as you described each.

This is so weird. I’m a born and raised San Diegan who has lived in Chicago, now Aurora CO, and I’ve been to every state except Alaska and Hawaii. I’ve never heard of there being “suburbs” in San Diego. San Diego is not Chicago or New York or LA where the city is distinct from from everything around it. The cities I named actually have suburbs because the cities actually incredibly urban. San Diego has the vibe of a giant suburb. Everything around is just their own cities or town. Like Oceanside has never been considered a suburb of San Diego. It’s just Oceanside. This video is odd to me but I’ve been seeing a trend of people saying “suburb” of San Diego.

San Diego suburbs is searched about 5X’s more than cities. I agree, they are towns not so much suburbs but at the end of the day there is no real difference besides population. Thanks for watching!

I live in Carmel valley, where the most popular bars are literally in shopping malls. The most popular car is a Model Y. Every house looks exactly the same. The biggest topic of conversation is which elementary school your kids are going to, because one has a band and the other teaches cursive. We drive everywhere. So yeah, it’s kinda suburban here dude

I've lived Chicago, Boulder Colorado and now North County Vista.... same travels💁🏼♀️‼️

Well, neighborhoods are not suburbs. LA Mesa, El Cajon Encinitas, etc are. So this "San Diegan" doesn't even know his own city. So, 2 mins in I'm out
@XXXICKYXXXАй бұрын
Creators just trying to take advantage of the search algorithm “ San Diego suburb”. Anybody from San Diego knows that one definite difference: There’s San Diego, then there’s “North County” San Diego. North County made up of cities beach communities or inland. As far as San Diego “proper” you have ZIP Code/ adjacent cities throughout. All of which fall under “San Diego county”. When I think “suburb” of San Diego, I think of Temecula, Murietta, Menifee.

Lol, now I understand why all of us locals are getting pushed out and outbid. Please stop and make your own area a place you want to live in, and don’t take from those of us who have made San Diego what it is. Y’all don’t fit here anymore. The beaches are crammed, traffic is getting horrible, and the parks are ridiculously packed-looking at you, Balboa. Need a nightlife? Create a nice club. Need a hip café? Open one up. Need diversity? Invite some immigrants. Need a place to be open-minded? Be the first to do that in your town or city. Start a club, IDK. 😅. Also I work with the homeless and majority are not even born or raised in San Diego

It surprises me nobody knows Bay Terraces, even born and raised San Diegans. For the most part, Bay Terraces has beautiful views, great schools and close to everything. Yeah Paradise Hills and National City is close but so is Bonita and east Chula Vista. If you are looking for large homes with beautiful views and affordable prices come check it out. I have been here for 3 years and my family loves it.

None of them include the Hoods or Barrio Logan lmao, no mention of Camp Pendleton or other bases. Most of these towns are heavily influenced by the Veterans who used to serve, got out and bought homes in SD. Dictates the policies in these nice suburbs.

La Mesa/Spring Valley/Grossmont area feels like it's 15mins away from everywhere you want to go tbh. The negative is how close you are to klantee and the drugs. Even still this area feels like it's own island in the valley.

Stay away! San Diego is full. Overpriced. I’m a SD native. My home insurance just increased 66% on one home and 50% on the other! Thankfully I do not have a mortgage. The insurance alone is the straw that broke the camel’s back!

Another poser saying they know San Diego but only does coastal or north county suburbs! East county gets ignored again…. Cool we don’t want y’all out here anyway . Actually it was good for what myopic part of Sam Diego it covered. I laughed at the mentioning of rancho Santa Fe because it’s like the most expensive place to live in the country. Oh and didn’t mention the horse racing track or other trendy stuff

Nick has been to my home in Vista when we first met, when I'm ready to sell, he's my agent! Until then it's true, I adore my neighborhood and we are worth a look. We're not perfect, but the city C-suites are working hard to tune up any city problems. Our weather misses the hot dessert boundaries and only 10 miles or so to the beach. Many homes have commanding views of the ocean too! Ah Vista or en Espanol, BISTA!
