Study Korean hard. Don't think the purpose of studying Korean is just because of ONLY K-pop, but find other motivations. There are world-class companies such as Samsung and LG in Korea. There are world-class entertainment companies in Korea. If you're fluent in Korean, you're more likely to get a job in such a company. Such companies are those that need talented people from all over the world.
