Honestly as an owner of a +10 Fallen Lilith, I wouldn't say to particularly ignore considering giving it to her. Her warping is great... but there's been a ton of competition that have released ever since Guidance/Soaring Guidance and the echo skill. They've also been hammering down on warping counters like V!Myrrh. Also, she just doesn't do anything outside of warping. She doesn't get slaying, and NFU support is way easier to supply through other means. This isn't to say that her PRF is useless, she's a great team member in galeforce and hit & run teams. But her combat would be much better with Fellstone if you'd like her to be useful outside of those specific team comps.

I think people just wanted something better in general for dragons to use and not just speedy dragons, or something. I mean it's just arcane devourer with up to 9 extra atk/spd/def/res, personally I think people are overvaluing that but at the same time as I read that it's actually pretty good. Though with the arcane that Lucina got a while back, would've expected IS to start making arcanes as good as Prima but I guess that was too much to expect.

@@catnapgaming7320 Exactly! fellstone has +10 omni stats over dragonstone/sunstone. the 10 extra Def/Res is basically like10 Flat damage reduction isn't it? (15% of 66 Atk or 20% of 50 Spd) albeit sometimes worth more against glimmer/astra and sometimes worth less against moonbow/luna. Not to mention you get 10 atk/spd too

​@@catnapgaming7320Because "just +14" is a drop in the bucket when prf crap lets them get over +20 just by existing and meeting their own gimmicks. In the end, a "statball" effect can only do so much when other statball effects also have more stuff added into it. And let's be real here.... Are there even enough "decently fast" dragon units that can use it well? Considering most of them have middling spd with mixed bulk and still requires some rare as hell skills to even make them functional. And he Scowl skills don't exactly help that statline since they'll be stacking up spd but dumping their defensive stat in exchange.

I love that both NY!Kanas are at tier 1 while both OG Kanas are at tier 3, and that fact Rearmed Robin is better with another rearmed weapon than her own. I already got both NY!Kanas built up, so I'll be giving it to the both of them.

Tbh I gave that stone to Nifl and its doing wonders as a PP unit I mean yes, the C is also a support tool but it imo depends on what foes there are and if you can afford not running NFU on Nifl with any other stone (Also for any Muspell enjoyers, Arcane Grima with Ploy 4 is perfect for him aswell)

I only managed to get 1 Lumera so if I feed her to Robin to duplicate Counter Roar 4 I'd like to be sure I'm going to use her weapon on her, since I won't be able to give it to other dragons, at least for now.

Man, all of these weapons are pretty good but none of them seem enough to save Nowi... She's the one gen 1 unit that I still try to keep viable because she was my first merge project and carried me through a lot back in the days, but it's getting rough. Her speed used to be exploitable but now it's really too low, so her statline is just awkward. I don't really know what to do with her anymore... Anyways, I managed to pull Lumera and gave the weapon + scowl to Winter Sothis which I think makes really good use of it. Did a near save build with hardy fighter, we'll see how that works out but seems pretty good on paper.

Honestly, I think I'm gonna save mine for a while. Didn't get enough M-NY!Kana's last time (planning to try to get few dupes once they return) and currently I just have so many grail projects that I can't consider F-NY!Kana as an option either, definitely at some point though. Second, although Arcane Fellstone IS better than either NY Kana's PRF's, I still don't feel it makingl THAT big of a boost for 'em. ...THough that said, Counter Roar inheritance would be nice. And lastly, I don't feel my Fates roster needs updating currently either, so that's another checkmark to the no box in this regard. Aside for 'em, I guess the H!Nils is also an option, but since he is a dancer I don't think he'll get that many combat opportunies anyway, making all that tasty fodder kind of a waste instead of going for the support/dancer route instead. So yeah, probably gonna let Lumera collect a layer of dust for a while in hopes of 'em releasing a new speedy dragon (preferably 3-4 star for merge reasons) that'll REALLY want this and make good use of it. My hoarder side rising its head a bit, sure, but generally I'd rather have a good resource waiting and ready for the day it can be used, than cry for lacking it once that opportunity comes.

My base f corrin has high speed (atk and speed boon, max dragonflower, summoner support) and a speed focused build (arcane grima, aether with engage ike, atk/spd finish, counter roar, atk/spd oath, DC seal). Would arcane fellstone be worth?? Should i change anything else in her build?

You'd rather have that GFU anyways, will all that speedcreep, a spd-based FU will do little, even with the statball effect, so just better to improve her survival and combat instead rather than forcing her to keep up.

As an avid user of Ascended Tiki I would say the Arcane is much better of a weapon. She only has Scowl (which you can't trigger without those extra 9 stats this weapon gives) and her pref skill only grants damage reduction and stats with a unit on 2 spaces....which can be hard to maintain when you are actively trying to avoid Duo Sanaki. So...yeah great pref not really sadly. Just because the lack of stat is so important both to survive and to meet speed checks.

I do not agree that slower units should use New Sun Stone, especially against Valentine's Lyon. Flat damage reduction does not contribute to stat checks such as Lyon's Gay Illusion, so this makes a lot of units sitting ducks if the weapon does not give enough stats. In the past, our only option was to use Surprised Breath, which inflicts debuffs based on the unit's RES. While Fellstone does not beat Surprised in terms of effective RES swing, it is close enough such that we can consider the other effects as part of opportunity cost. This is despite the NFU being fairly useless for the most part. For Armors specifically, the cooldown acceleration allows it to loop Hardy Fighter, which still is the go to skill for most Armors in the first place.

Having to use a clearly broken unit to judge a weapon's value is in poor taste. There's simply way too many ways to bypass defensive playstyles that they seem moot because most of the time, "the broken unit wouldn't care at all about it". Not to mention this comes at an opportunity cost, as not everyone would drool over a bandaid dragonstone when they're divisive to use in the first place (not fast enough, not defensive enough, locked out of certain skills, can't even be a player-phase unit).

There is no such thing as "defensive" and "offensive" playstyle, but rather defensive and offensive mechanisms. That paradigm that you are talking about is largely only applicable in Aether Raids, but in mode such as Arena and Summoner Duels (latter is more applicable due to scoring restrictions), it is more of a spectrum; sometimes you just bring a save as your only defensive mechanism, sometimes you bring multiple such as bringing a save and using Fallen Maria, and sometimes you don't bring anything at all. I do not see how countering a specific unit that you see quite a bit is in poor taste. It is akin to preparing for a test question that is difficult to answer, but almost guaranteed to come out in the actual test. Yes, Valentine's Lyon is borked and I don't know what the developers are smoking when creating this unit, but that doesn't mean I just cry and do absolutely nothing about it. Improvise; adapt; overcome.

Idk, I think F!Lilith could also use this Arcane over her Prf. Silent Power is a bit better than base Astral Breath in support so it's good enough to keep. However, Arcane Fellstone would be better if you wanted to use her offensively. Funny enough since I got her forma a while ago. Unfortunately I'm not willing to go for a spark on this banner, especially when they're gonna be running emblem Marth and Ike soon so Silent Power will have to do until her refine in like 3 years if the game doesn't die lol

I don't agree with base Ninian's tier placing. Yes, her Atk is low, but the defensive perks provides by Arcane Fellstone with NFu and the DR makes it quite helpful for her defensive prowess. Dragon Stone+ is also really strong on her, so at worst she should've been in that tier.

What defensive perk? It's only spd-based NFU and a +14 statball, with her outdated stats it simply isn't enough, and her middling bulk doesn't help either, so at best she'd rather stack hp so she can soak up damage rather than fruitlessly trying to mitigate it.

Dragon units simply aren't designed well enough to be a "catch-all" unit (a.k.a even in all stats so can be built in myriad of ways). Not defensive enough to tank reliably and not offensive enough to be a threat, so they're in an existential crisis of trying to find a niche. Ironically offensive Scowl is counterproductive to fast dragons since they'll be dumping their res to do it and if they went the other way they'll just be doubled to death without getting a counter off.
