Alright, for 59.99 to my door I grabbed the 8’s. If they are great on my longbow, my boy has enough arrows to keep him pacified all fall. If the inserts are glued I’d assume they they’re 12 grainers and trimming a 32 to 29 will solve that little hiccup.

Jeff, I bought some Sanlida 470's and 500's. They are great, but I have run into a question for you through a bunch of testing. The Sanlida's are much lighter grains per inch than the Warriors that I normally shoot. I've found that the best arrow flight with them is between 460g and 500. You've mentioned in past videos that the magic hunting number is 500g for the best penetration. With the Sanlida's, the FOC is higher than the Warriors at equal length. What's more important for a hunting arrow, keeping the weight 500g and above or higher FOC with a lower overall arrow weight?? Thank You! Dave

I've been shooting the Dragon 10's for a few days now. I also shoot 27 1/2 draw length. I was blown away by how accurately they fly. Yep, they were about a hundred bucks for 24. In the past I have shot Carbon Express and Gold Tip. I paid about $90 for a box of six. So not only are the Sanlida's about a fourth the price, they fly and perform just as well. I can't tell the difference. One thing I would recommend, however, is to shoot a heavier spine than you normally would. I ordered 300 spine arrows and they are cooking out of my PSE EVO EVL 32, Very fast arrows.

I actually had the opposite experience as far as spine. I have a 28.5" draw and was shooting the Warriors in a 400 spine, 7" wrap, cut to 30.5" with 310gr up front and they were lasers in my 50# longbow. Fletched with 4" feathers and a standard nock. I ordered the 400 spine Dragon 9's and cut to 31" with the same 7" wraps I needed 350gr up front to get them tuned to my bow. It's not a concern for me, total arrow weight is still ballpark 600gr+/- compared to the Warriors I was using at about 585gr and they fly every bit as straight if not better so I'll definitely be using them this season. I'm really happy with the performance of them in the few days I've had to give them a test run, just found it odd that they seemed stiffer than the Warriors when the GPI was notably lower. Even shot a few with broadheads into a 3/4" sheet of plywood multiple times and they haven't splintered or cracked so they're tough as well.

@@OnHolliday Well, to be honest I would have bought the 350 spines but they were out of them at the time. But I've been very happy with how the 300's fly.
