But thats no free assets right?
@enerzise31616 жыл бұрын
We purchased Gaia, Gina, Path Painter, Pegasus, CTS Complete Terrain Shader, Emerald AI, ootii controller, Dialogue, Synty Sci-Fi pack, Rucksack, HUD Navigation, Malbers Horse Animset Pro, Ravens/Crows and Raccoon/Red Panda, R.A.M. River/Water, Weather Maker, Aquas Water, uNode, Low Poly Animals pack, Multiple Terrain Brush and a couple other mechanic/tool assets. Our problem is most of the Tree, Rock, Forest and Grass/Bush asset packs do not say they are compatible with Gaia and Gina 2. Like this one NATUREMANUFACTURE Mountain Trees - Dynamic Nature says it is compatible with Vegetation Studio or Studio Pro. We have Gaia and Gina 2. We are going to pick up the Synty Polygon pack that is a $400 savings that you showed. But we would also like to get some life like tree, forest, rock and meadow assets that are Gaia and Gina compatible. Got $700 more to spend and the sales are when to spend it.

Can I ask you a question if you allow how did you learnt language C# Are there courses, sites or channels to learn programming And Thanks.
@enerzise31616 жыл бұрын
@@yelfa6806 Not sure if you are asking me but I do C#, and so do two others on our four person crew. I will try to give you a good and detailed answer in sections. Read as little are as much as you like. Section 1 Programming not for everyone. Some people have a mind for programming and some do not. Of the people with a mind for programming, some can program in any language. Some can program in some but not all and some people will only program in one language because their mind works in a way that it easy for them to use one programming language. Some languages have small differences in another language and large differences in other languages. For some people, the small differences make it confusing for them. Others, the small differences make it easy to them. Section 2 Programming is new to you, or just another language to try to learn. Some people, like myself, already know a language and I use what I know in Basic, to learn C, C++, C#, Java Script and HTML. So it was kind of easy for me to start learning C# and I am new to Unity. I learn by doing tutorials on KZbin and by looking on forums and discussion boards. Those are where I see other coders with problems and more experienced coders helping them resolve problems. You will get to see many ways of doing things. If you are new to C#, it could be as easy or as hard as it is for anyone else. The person you learn from plays a big roll in how easy or how hard it is for you to learn, but this is not so for everyone. Some people desire to learn programming so much, they ignore the teacher's personality and bad habits. Section 3 Learning programming in a correct order. Some people learn best by doing a structured lesson system. I downloaded Unity and started to follow tutorials and learn as I build. This way I am learning what I need in the steps of building what I want. The other way to learn is in a structured course of study. Udemy offers courses in C# and you can get discounts by wathcing Sykoo or Brackeys videos and a Udemy ad will play before the video. The link in the video will usually offer you a discount on a C# Course of study. Also, sometimes you can click in the link window below the video where Sykoo or Brackeys will give more information. Sometimes they give a link with a discount to a specific course they suggest on Udemy and it will be a very big discount. $199 course for $15. These courses should tell you what version of Unity they require. How many hours the course takes and a breakdown on each section of the course. It will also let you know if you are going to make one or more games in the course. Section 4 About the three programmers on our crew. I am 52 and started programming when I was 16 in the Basic language. Self taught from books on a 1980's TRS-80 MC-10 with 4k ram. Over the years I got into other programming languages. They all appear easy to learn and very similar, so it is easy for me to adapt. This is the computer I started on oldcomputers.net/mc-10.html J is the other guy on the crew and he went to college and learned four programming languages and took two semesters of Spanish and four semesters of Chinese. He is new to C# and so he purchased a course from Udemy, after doing some tutorials from Sykoo and Brackeys. I am sure he used a link from one of them and paid $15 for the course. J prefers to learn in ordered steps and build a good strong solid foundation of code principles. That type of programmer eventually becomes very reliable in solving issues and knowing many ways to do things in code. I am the type who learns one or two ways to do something and move on to learning something else. So I am fast on the start and solve issues as they arise but J knows how to do things ten ways from Sunday. J knows how to program AI if I explain what I want it to do. I specialize in Programming Theory. I may not know exactly how to do it, but I know it can be done and have a general idea how to do it. N is the female programmer on the team and she can not stand Java Script, but likes C#. She went to college and took Business Administration and minored in programming. She is good at coding databases, arrays and things like that. She also types very fast, loves to read and doubles as a creative writer. She likes to learn from tutorials that may or may not be a complete tutorial and she tries to finish the project code on her own or by searching forums. She is like Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy, she does not get jokes and acts like a robot most of the time. I can point at something and tell her to do it and she will not stop unless I tell her to stop. She does best sticking to one programming language. The best programmer is a combination of all three of us or has two of those sets and has access to someone with the other set. Reading about Programming Theory is a good way to develop your maturity towards being a good flexible programmer. Most importantly is to discover the way you learn programming best and stick with it for the long term. Section Closing When I take a break from doing programming tutorials with Sykoo, Brackey, Holistic 3D and a few others out there, I watch movies about programming and coding or I just watch videos on how to do things in Unity, but do not try to actually do it. I just watch them for entertainment.

Hey Sykoo. I purchased the RPG Medieval Kingdom Kit you mentioned, but have problems when I try to run it on a high end brand new iMac Pro 10 core machine with 64 gig of RAM and a Radeon Pro Vega 64 16368 MB graphics card and a 3 GHz Intel Xeon W processor. The monitor is 5K. I was using Unity version 2018.1.0f2 64 bit). It's hard to do anything in either gameplay mode (as shown in this screen capture with horrible lag) or in edit mode (where I have to go to wireframe to do anything). Is there some issue with maybe the new pipeline you mentioned it using? I wanted to use this for an MMO I am developing on my Mac, but it seems like it is not Mac friendly perhaps. Here is an animated GIF to show you what the horrible lag is like with this asset on a Mac: gyazo.com/7db79a4da3f93fe3b5a9fca07cf2c069

@dimitarzitosanski31056 жыл бұрын
@@ScottFoust I agree with that analogy, I'm just saying its better to have everything in your game made by yourself (if you are bad at art you can do it with another guy who is good at art), and make something special and unique.

Depends on the asset and the game. You can often make it work for certain assets, especially things like nature packages, including day-night cycles, solutions for seas and rivers, and various shader solutions, all of these are likely to integrate well.
