I did it by getting downed by an AA artillery truck, jumped out, whacked his truck with the tool until he panicked and drove downhill into a trench of Monte Grappa, kept whacking, he got out of the trench and used a smoke screen, that way he couldn’t see me but I could see him, and since the whole time I was out of his AA’s and machine gun’s fields of view, he eventually hopped out, i shot him with both barrels at once of my sawn off shotgun, and stole his truck on 10 health

When you look at the heavy bomber there is a (not so) secret tactic. Get a team mate to stand on top and they'll get unlimited grenades plus it's fairly easy to stay up there. They could also repair whilst standing up there!

AKA-ART There’s also a great tactic where if you pull straight and to the side, the bomber tunes faster than even attack planes. Niccaman did a great video showcasing this. It’s obviously a bug, but it’s hilarious and makes it more effective for strafing and turning around.

I'm actually a big fan of the airship buster at the beginning of rounds that have airship behemoths. There's nothing in the game that will drain health like that. Usually 3-5 runs (depending on how teammates help) can take down a behemoth.

I can help with the airship. You should only jump into it when you want to die as fast as possible. Even though it has cool weapons it's not worth using unless it gets a huge health boost.

Cristian ION Cristian I actually don't really care about kd and just play for fun. The thing is I can't even have fun in the airship because it always gets destroyed in under a minute. You can barely do anything with it at the moment which sucks. It's such a cool vehicle.

It has always bothered me when i have jumped into the rear gunner seat, as a co pilot, and havent been able to hit anything and protect the aeroplane because the pilot is trying to swerve and dodge like crazy. Cant hit a thing.

The self repair tool for planes is what makes them little OP each time they come bombing js, we backfire at it, then he rans away to repair and so on! There shouldn’t be that! Same for cavalry, If you need to repair these vehicles it should take at least twice more time

The Ground Support is the most teamplay out of the 3 since you drop several spotting flares that have larger range than the recon's flare and the cannon is fairly versatile. The Tank Hunter is much more self focused but it has the biggest overall killing potential out of all.

Before Turning Tides DLC dropped, Ground Support was up-and-away the best loadout. Devastating against infantry with a little utility against ground vehicles and decent air-to-air capabilities works quite well for infantry focused maps. And then Turning Tides brought us maps where the Tank Hunter loadout literally never runs out of wonderfully dynamic targets that are so much goddamn fun to 'splode. Now I can't pick which one I like more. Destroying infantry is fun, but... dropping bombs on blimps? Even better.

The airship buster is great at taking out the Zeppelin otherwise the ground attack is my favourite to protect open objective points. The tank hunter cannon just feels weird to use and often times would only do 2 damage ricochet shots on tanks.

I play with the tank hunter and Ground support .. as you said depends on the situation. If the enemy has less air superiority i would go for ground support targeting both infantry and enemy tanks. Usually I would dive bombing my targets "think of it as Ju 87 from ww2" especially against tanks. You can do a lot of damage and climb away from the tank gunner with out getting a shell in the back and deploy flares while diving or climbing for your next attack.

the tank hunter plane can take out fighters and attack planes with a single direct hit through the main body as well, it's my favourite choice plus an accurate strafe can easily deal with infantry if you make sure to spot the targets and pop off shots at enemies hiding in craters, eg on galicia. i reckon it's the most well-rounded plane, although if you have an enemy on your tail it's the most difficult one to win the dogfight.

From my experience, I firmly believe that the tank hunter is the best anti air one. It's comparable to a sniper in how it works, yet much sneakier. You can sneak up on planes and do mass amounts of damage in an instant. This is a better contrasting to the continuous damage stream from the airship buster, which gives the opposition a lot of time to react. The usage of the cannon also makes repair attempts by an enemy attack plane a death wish.

Lol jump in a plane and spend sometime as pilot. Flying in Bf1 is very satisfying once you get good. I personally have the most kills as an infantry but have 14 stars in an attack plane and another 15 stars in the howitzer light tank. I find that lean towards vehicle warfare since have more time spend playing as a tanker or pilot. Having option to play different roles every time I play is what I love about bf games. Nothing is better then coming across an amazing pilot or tanker and trying to beat them. IMO it’s more satisfying than wrecking enemies as infantry. In most cases at least. There are those moments when you get a sick flank and get some multikills

TH Plane is the most scary in 1v1 Air fight. Two shots and vehicle disabled. If hit on the engine, it's disabled in an instant. Also risk of getting headshotted with a cannon is there. Also having an instant wing repair is crucial, when fighting against fighters and enemies from behind, when fleeing.

@13:38 not true. If I'm in a plane and you fly straight with a gunner, you're going to die. For most noobs, flying straight and letting your gunner do the work is fine, but it's a crutch and not going to work against a good pilot. Also, ground support vs infantry is incredibly OP. The splash damage should be dramatically tighter. It's too easy.

Pewpiepiepewper yeah and then try that all on 200% dmg servers. My god it’s good. I normally run Bomber Hunter Fighter and love getting on attackers tails. I often kill the gunner thru headshots before he gets me but that said the plane is a bit trickier to dmg since wings are harder to to hit than in deflection and engine almost never. However a good gunner will wreck your day. But with the Bomber hunter variant I got rockets and a repair I can use as well with a nice HMG. When I’m gunner it’s rather easy as well to kill fighters again I 50/50 on the pilot or the engine of a pursuer.

I usually run ground support my preference, I find it a bit more versatile for how I play. Since there is always massive amounts of Infy and usually other planes. I can’t rely on the 37mm to get the job done for me anyways. If I took time to aim that thing sure maybe, but I need to move quick fast and land as many hits in as short amount as possible then break off to kill some jerkoff enemy pilot. (Honestly I often run Fighter and just rocket and MG strafe) That all said I’m usually on a 200% damage server.

James Tang The Chadsen has always been good but now that it's TTK is negligibly slower than the BAR and Parabellum people are more willing to use it.

I love flying attack plane in BF1 but there's one thing I'll probably never understand: when I have a gunner and enemy plane starts shooting at me,I always line up for the gunner to get the job done while I'm repairing... BUT... I don't understand how after my gunner shoots a whole barrage of lead at the enemy aircraft, the enemy kills us both with 98 hp left...

Is it Vehicle HP or Pilot HP that you are reading, I believe it shows both. Also depending on the plane he might pop a repair ability. Most likely gunner just sucks and isn’t aiming properly or failing pilot pulled a cheeky ram or rocket strike.

Warner Moczulski if a vehicle kills you it shows the health of the vehicle... Yes, he could pop an instant repair, but it is usually the ground support attack plane that shoots me and I know that one has flares.. and even if he pops the instant repair, it only repairs for 10 to 20 points so if he had 98 hp left, he sill would've had more than 75 hp if he hadn't popped the repair...

9/10 the gunner only kills derp fighters. Good trench and bomber killer fighters completely wreck your plane before the gunner can hope to kill them, especially if you are flying straight. (also super easy to hit). Also tank hunter attack plane is the best air to air plane if you are a good pilot.

Kasper Haupt It depends. Ground Support is always good for anti-infantry work but the Tank Hunter is decent for that while also putting in work against all the boats and the C-class fat bois in the air.

RP-46 Degtyaryov the Ilya Muromets? Well with a good gunner you can take that thing down in 2-3 attack runs. The Gotha and Caproni bombers are easy to kill in 1-2 attack runs and if you hit the engines you only need 3 hits to kill iirc.

Wolf _ and with a fully loaded Heavy Bomber (pilot, forward and rear gunner, support with wrench constantly repairing) with the emergency repair it’s a bitch to take down, since the constant repair and rear gunner can do a number, on top of the emergency repair the pilot can do that’s extra bulk. And if you for whatever reason should try to fly past the plane the forward facing MG can do even more damage on top of what the rear facing flak cannon did. This of course is if you have a skilled pilot and communication between team mates. Just saying

RP-46 Degtyaryov ofc a skilled crew can keep the bomber alive for more time than a uncoordinated, unskilled crew. That's why I mentioned the amount of attack runs needed to kill the plane can vary. Tbh without a gunner I would not try to attack it unless it's already been damaged, but that also counts for the airship buster for me.

well mines suck now. ive destroyed 2 tanks. and theres already been 2 tanks to hit my mines but didn't die because they were to far apart. really pisses me off. that had never happened before, someone hit any of my mines they would die. everyone says it does more damage, congrats youll do 75 damage and not destroy it. half of the tanks that have hit my mines didn't die its bs.

Luke Hammond you are joking right. They are the easiest thing in the world to spot they look so out of place on every map. Plus any flares and Q will spot them. I have never hit mines. Everytime someone does I lol cause they must be a blind idiot. If they can ambush you at mines with AT grenades they would have killed you anyways. Mines are only good for “securing” an otherwise unguarded flank from a tank. They were crap at that because they are so easy to spot so they only ever worked if clustered up for max dmg and minimal detection

Sadly, I'm not playing Battlefront. I wish it had a squad spawn system so that I could play it with friends. As it is, I feel that it's pretty hard to be able to work together with squadmates and without that, I don't enjoy the game as much.
