I like your content, I also learned how to eq myself last Friday, thought it wasn’t anything in depth, I did manage to pull some of my gaming content and analysts the frequencies, I got footsteps around 85 - 130 hz depending on the flooring and background noise between 950 - 1350 hz. Here are my EQs I use for my Nova Pros Wired on PS5 with a GameDac. -10, 2, 10, -2, 1, 0, 0, 8, -9, -1 I feel like I get some really good results with these, even thou my headset is created with bass boost already, I usually just fully ramp up 125 to the max😂but I tried to lower some surrounds noise, kill streaks and distant gun fire, I’ll stop myself before this becomes a story, separately, you’ve gained a sub

New viewer here, would love an updated version of this. According to a lot of people the season 1 reloaded update, messed up the audio for Warzone and Multiplayer. I’ve been stuck on Zombies grinding nebula blasting music so I didn’t need good audio settings to play. Would really appreciate some good Dolby Atmos EQ settings for console as I have Astro headset but don’t have any audio mixer program or physical mixer either, just headset to controller.

@chris_g.m.z I definitely hear you. The thing is, they broke the audio entirely.. sounds register inconsistently now. Until Activision/ Treyarch fixes this, no EQ or sound service will be effective. I'm keeping my eye out for a fix, but I'm not gonna put out a video until I know it works.

These settings are actually pretty good i have tested them so far I like #2 , but 3 has benefits too , I have yet to try option #3 , you deserve more likes and views for sure man . Over all they are all good settings depends what you prefer really . Can hear footsteps better in 2 and in 3 you can hear people loading gums and stuff better , like player action are louder.

I'd say try out EQ 2 & 3. In game mix, try punch, theater, and voice. I can't say what the perfect balance will be unless I have that exact headset.. but based on the drivers powering the device, the original recommendations make the most sense... Until this channel has more financial support, I can't afford to buy a ton of headsets for testing. I hope you understand.

Logitech pro x2 light speed on atmos pc? Best eq? I’ve tried these and tried different mixes in game. Everytime the footsteps get drowned out. And in preset 1 the gun shots just sound weird and sharp. No matter what gunshots and explosions drown out footsteps for me

That's the issue with EQing, other actions in game utilize the same frequencies. So although I've amplified footsteps, I can't isolate footsteps to be the only action being amplified. That would require altering game files.. which will get you banned.

You should get at the least a similar result. It just depends on how alike the audio output ends up being. I usually recommend dolby for the EQ, and dac be flat.

@georgiodavid dolby takes sound from the game and filters the output via the EQ. So the result should be the newest version, even if BO6 audio design wasn't based on it.

@@JBORD101 actual settings for my headphones in GG is flat, every switch at zero. But that what i wanna try is to find out the difference between the setting from Dolby Atmos and GG. What i want to know is if i use only the software from GG instead of Dolby Atmos am i able to get the same results or better? The Headset was really expensive to get results only from third party apps... 🙈😄 But until yet i wasn't able to find any settings to get that results like yours. I was looking in the net for settings especially for GG, but all the settings didn't match like Dolby Atmos settings.

@Bossi259 dolby seems to be the best, but steelseries isn't something to sleep on. Use either one, and you will benefit. If you want me to do personal paid guidance, I will. I've chosen not to do so because I want to benefit all, but I will design specific EQs if you want.

Your third profile was until yet the best settings since i tried by myself. All the others that i tried from YT or Reddit did not fit for me also the settings in Sonar you can select aren't that good like the third profile.

The best way is to start everything zeroed out then clicking the band you want to alter and using arrow keys to adjust 1 db at a time.

@thurmanmerman1199 balanced bass EQ, and voice boost audio mix (in game) is your best bet. Footsteps have a low end range tied to them, so it's impossible to eliminate bass without killing off some of what composes "footsteps."

Tried all 3 settings, my headphones still sound wayy too much bass on the Astro a50x and not enough footsteps. My old gen 2 stealth 600 turtle beaches sounded so much better. Will be looking to return these in the next few days if i cant get them to improve

Maybe be a dumb question but what frequency does gun shooting sit at .so I can turn that all the way down and foot steps all the way up?

@Vloir sadly, it isn't that easy. Gunshots have multiple bands (frequency ranges) that get utilized, meaning if you crank those ranges up or down, it's changing more than gunshots. The reason I have 3 EQs here is so people can find what works best for them.

@Vloir I would go with a 50mm high quality driver set, wired. IEMs are quite good as well, but they need external power.. so controllers can cause issues with volume.

@Vloir only if you cranked the bass up on the larger drivers. EQ1 for example, is "balanced bass" once you pair that with the recommended in game audio mixes, it pans out very well. Footsteps in the game typically have a low 24-167hz range and a high 1.7k-4k+ range. Footsteps also sound different on varying surfaces, so there's a lot to consider here.

Try EQ 1 and 2, but try each with Sucker Punch/Home Theater (in game audio mix). If it is too much bass, try the voice boost audio mix as well. Ultimately, ninja is a perk and it works very well in the game. There will be limitations against ninja users.

@@JBORD101 I went in Astro command center and set the 3rd eq to 0 on everything would that be considered flat? Also I'm not sure about eqs programed into the headset besides what I program into it through the command center. I get to choose 3 eqs in the Astro command center then all I have to do is push a button on my headset to swap I got it on the flat rn. I also tried it with the 2nd eq and different audio mixers in game and I can hear footsteps a little better but I still feel like something is wrong because I feel like it should have done more with the footsteps. Like when I watch your video I can hear them before I see them on mine I have to be close to them before I hear them. Also I went into a private match to test the settings to so it's not the ninja perk unless the bots have it I'm not sure lol

mid-high is boosted as well, but you may want to try the voice boost audio mix in game, with EQ1. Audio mix is very important to have selected in game audio settings.
