Black Ops 6 Config File Tweaks: Boost FPS and Visibility in BO6

Hey guys, got a lot of questions about ReBar. I extensively tested ReBar in my previous video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYLMpp1rgMZrZ7c In short: Disable on Nvidia GPUs (its actually disabled by the driver anyways so don't bother) and enable on all-AMD systems!

7800x3d + rx 7900 xtx here, i got extra 60fps on avg on 1440p in mw3 benchmark, can confirm it helps alot on AMD

@@aggressivefennec can confirm aswell, was testing a lot with SAM on and off and performance and response time is way better with SAM ON. BUT you have to make sure to ENABLE the ReziseBar Optimisation in the confic files aswell! It is the "GPUUploadHeaps" in the config, set this to true

Please make a video about the directX errors and crashes people are having with black ops 6. I also suffer from the directX crashes and nothing has fixed it. Verifying files and reinstalling and different graphics settings don’t help. I’m playing the game pass version if that matters but I think I’ve seen people crashing from directX on steam.

If you have a Nvidia Card turn off dlss and change it to Nvidia image scaling with frame gen if you want or without. Also in the Bios disable xmp

Question, I have a 4070 super, 7800x3d, 64gb ddr5 (overkill for no reason i know).. with variable rate shading i get like a locked 240fps essentially but get crazy bad microstutter drops that makes it just unplayable. As an intel user, for whatever reason when I tried to edit the config more then the cpu render and the rebar lines, my fps actually got WORSE. I fear this game is so unbelievably unoptimized for PC, changing the config too much freaks out the spaghetti code. I played initially without any config edits other then the 2 stated, and wanted to see if editing the config more was worth it. When my performance got worse I was extremely frustrated and just couldn’t understand why. I also noticed a huge latency bump and input lag on my mouse that wasnt there initially. Did a fresh install of the game and it was night and day difference. From 150fps average back to 200fps. Went from 8ms cpu latency back to 4ms. I didn’t change anything other then the config, in game settings were the same. Might not be the case for everyone but just wanted to state my findings.

If my fps gets low after an update, I just delete (documents/call of duty /players) folder and redo my graphics settings.

Though we disable blood effects with your suggestions, isn't it better to set the BloodLimitInterval time to the maximum (2000) so that if it were to visualize it would do so with the biggest pauses between effects?

Does anyone have the same issue that is on a really good pc setup and gets rly bad fps? I’m on an 4070 ti super and 7800x3d cpu, I get avg 140 fps on nuketown for example while some friends who have the same build get double the fps. Could be the frame gen setting that you can only see in the campaign, I wouldn’t recommend using it tho bc of the input delay. It’s on by default for some ppl

7800X3D here and with -1 render core i get way higher fps and better low % fps ^^ game running perfectly fine maxed with 8 aswell but when having 7, its running way better specially in zombies. No idea why but never touch a running system i guess - stimms? ;) + About the Velocity Blur, i think this is for vehicles when u have a certain speed, the edges are blured to make it feel more "speedy" if that makes sense. Maybe im wrong here but at least in MWZ when i disabled that option, i no longer had that blur effect

I have a question regarding "rendererworkercount". I have a 14900k and 4090. This was set to 16 and lowering it to 7 caused my bottleneck to go from roughly 50/50 to 98% GPU, which is ideal, but I did lose performance. I'm playing in 3440x1440, with your settings, and I'm getting 218fps average in benchmark. I also get a lot of packet burst issues, but that's a whole nother thing I guess. My question though about the rendererworkercount is it mentions above it that its related to the threads, not cores, so why would we set this to the amount of P cores we have rather than threads? Is this because the threads are a split up amongst the cores so each would technically have 2? I just don't understand why some benchmarks I see are showing 4k at like 230fps, when I'm running 3440x1440 and only getting 218fps. I know its 21:9, so it would be less than someone on 2560x1440, but I can't figure out why 4k would be higher. I also have no cooling issues whatsoever and nothing but discord and icue running in the background. Thanks for any help you can provide.

HDR is only worth it if you have a OLED display. Otherwise, turn it off

Turn it on, use the hdr calibration in game and see if the image looks better. For me even on ips display with only 400nits peak brightness, hdr gets rid of annoying colour banding.

You didn't mention it in the video, resizable-bar is enabled by default in the configuration file, but disabled by default in the Nvidia profile for this game. Most likely, Nvidia, having tested the game, is still experiencing problems with the resizable-bar in it, but what about your tests? Thanks!

thje bloodlimitInterval should be 2000ms , that's how fast the game updates the blood effects, 1ms meaning the game will update the effects every 1ms so that actually harms performance (if this setting actually does)

Depends on your CPU. if you have a 4 core CPU you might be able to increase performance by a bit with the first tweak (setting rendererworkercount). Everything else does not increase performance I'm afraid.

i would say your config or something is off because those settings actually do change performance 100%. for instance i run a 7800x3d and 3080 and changing the settings you said didnt do anything, actually improve my fps from 140 to 190. test again

If you own an Nvidia GPU you won't be able to use ReBar unless you force it through a tool called Nvidia Inspector. I would highly recommend against that because it wrecks 1% lows. On an all-AMD system you can turn it on no problem, see my previous video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYLMpp1rgMZrZ7c
