yes giraffes are cool. If you watch a giraffe eat they chew their food for a long time before swallowing and you can see it going down their throat before coming back up and repeated multiple times before they are finished with that one mouth full.

Goodness Andy, you should do this again. My four sons are on the spectrum and my since we had our boys, my husband has self diagnosed. He is 80% of these memes. While I'm not personally autistic, this video describes my life, haha.

1:20 is me when I read incorrect grammar and spelling on comments and other places like twitter or online or even on billboards. I’ve yelled at reporters on the TV for using incorrect grammar or mispronouncing words. 😆 I would happily correct every single one. I’m trying to get work as a proof reader so I can get paid to do it instead of having people get offended.

Don't worry, I have Finally learnt not to point it out all the time. It means I get distracted if I'm having a conversation but I don't say it anymore, though I do like anyone else's comment who does. I will if I know people don't mind (like my Mum because she's the same as me for example) but I really don't want to upset people. Took me a while to learn that. I don't judge it exactly, I mostly just find it annoying and distracting.

1:20 Yeeees. T_T I never will understand how people think it's rude to correct things that are actually wrong, not opinions, I WANT to be corrected. This is one example why the "treat others as you want to be treated" is bullshit. If I did that, holy shit would I get in trouble. Reddit in white mode, aaah nooo!

Aww see that would annoy me as I always think before saying something. So if someone's asked me a question, I find it abit rude answering on their belief unless they know the person you know. I can understand why people do its quick resolution but just not my cup of tea honestly 😅

Poor Linus being used for memes. When I'm playing board games with family and I'm trying to consontrate but everyone's talking and the pressure of having to take my turn is too much. I used to say what's on my mind and regret it now I just don't talk in social situation unless they detect the question at me. Oh and my 4 main interest cycling, tech, gaming, youtube that I cycle through on a monthly basis really annoys my wife as she doesn't get it and she ends up zoning it out so I talk about it more. God I have issues . Sorry for the long comment wish I had friends to talk to about this stuff. God I'm going to regret posting this but I'm still going to

Love your videos! Thanks for sharing your stories. My three years old boy was diagnosed with level 1 autism last week. We are still shocked and scared but are ready for the next steps and will do everything we can do to support him. Can I ask a question? Do you suggest that we let the kindergarten/school know his diagnosis? I don’t want my dear son to be treated differently by his teachers and peers, but I am afraid that they cannot understand his behaviours if we don’t let them know.

Hi I have autism and i think you should tell the school the diagnosis because then they can get your son a assistant because I had a assistant for every year in school and it’s important to that the school know.
@IndieAndy
@IndieAndy 4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Glad you enjoy the videos. I agree with what Megan said. By not telling the school etc, he may put him at a disadvantage later on but also like you say if he does struggle with something and reacts negativity. Then the school will know why and also be able to assist your son and you as well. I understand the reasons why you weren't want to tell about your son's diagnosis. However the cons far out way of positives if you decide not to disclose. Also schools generally are generally better when it comes to autism and knowing about it. But I'd make a point of disclosing it so the school's knows and also put things into places if needed like an assistant or other things later on like additional time in exams which is something I got access to alongside an assistant ☺️

@ReiverBlue1971
@ReiverBlue1971 4 жыл бұрын
@@IndieAndy The "heavy" ones are informative and, in my case, extremely enlightening (and make me feel better about being me). These "lighter" ones brighten my (and others) day, allowing us to laugh right from the gut, partly because of the relief we get from knowing others do/think the same way AND are actually f**king funny. One of the (many) things I love about my good lady is that she laughs at my jokes.....genuinely, even if they're a comment thrown out in the moment. I think you have a good sense for that kind of humour which could be part of why people gravitate to your channel...and if they don't, they damned well should do! :D (ok, now I'm starting to sound like a stalker....ewww!). I've always been a little too open for NTs, but I'm starting to think it's just part of the honesty and "literalness" (?) of how we view the world which seems to lead to an unusual sense of humour. Whilst all I've said is true from my perspective, I'm starting to see some common "elements" in how we see the world. I like to understand the why and how of things and this can sometimes allow me to help in figuring out the thinking behind certain behaviours. It's been helpful on certain FaceBook groups if nothing other than to inspire understanding or at least encouraging others to think along different lines. This has gone a bit deep hasn't it? I could really do with having a good long chat with other peeps on the spectrum to find out more. :D
