I guess people trade safety for a lil bit more engine refinement (not power though) or resale maybe. Customer Service satisfaction is another area where Indian manufacturers kinda lack, although I've seen the same poor service satisfaction with foreign brands as well. It depends on area to area from the looks of it & not brand to brand.

Offcourse its of best choice . Eco sport doesn't provide in automatic with only 100 bhp engine and xuv300 doesn't come up with same cabin feel fit and finish and aroma. So its a great great choice

Xuv300 base which is 9.06 lakh have no central locking, no music system Ecosport is i think winner but if parts need replacement, new part will take more than a week !

I had a 2012 Ford Figo diesel and the car was driven about 185000 km without clutch change and I have never felt any hard clutch issue. After that I purchased Ford Ecosport 2019 diesel and still the clutch is working fine and no hardness observed till now.

As per the owner “safety these days is more of a hype”. I totally disagree with his point. Trying to justify your decision is one part of it but you can’t just neglect the safety aspect when buying a car since it’s a long term investment. I hope that day never comes when you find out how safe the car is but please also understand that safety is not a much created hype but it’s a mandate. The roads have changed, the driving dynamics have evolved and we have more vehicles on road day by day, hence safety is a priority. No offence!

Yes but on negatives avg of 9kmpl, Automatic with lag, sluggish interiors, worst service agents, top variant W8 is uncessarilly expensive and company doesn't provide accessories of top variant to lower. So do not consider only 1 decision is smart, other people do consider something else as well. 20kmpl, I would prefer anyday unless I am buying Audi or premium 7 seaters.
