Between the two? I’d go with the 5.11 bag. I know some people argue on whether the price of 5.11 is based on true value added to the product or you’re just buying the name. Most of what I’ve seen in person seems well made, well thought out, and priced reasonably to what you get. Thanks for the video! Keep ‘em coming!

Yeah I saw this 5.11 bag in blue that my buddy used in a class and was like where'd you get that? And here we are lol. I can't wait to test my measurements with a supressor on that 10.5. It will be 90 days on my e-file in a few days....pray for me. 😬

5.11 Does not fit my 16” ar very good. The new savior has a nice pocket to slide the rifle into to protect the muzzle

I just got the Savior in. Definitely dig it. The middle carry handle is a bit odd though lol. Kind of like they forgot about it and suddenly sewed it on. I think the lower outside pocket should’ve run. MOLLE all the way to the bottom or run loop at the bottom. I set my placard in and it can slide upwards but it’s not going anywhere. I set one of the IFAKs in it as well as my mini cleaning kit. It’d also been nice if they made it where the flap could Velcro or something. The loop-ish material on the outer bottom is just not necessary unless I throw a morale patch on. Going to set some loops for chem light and markers. The pistol pocket is ok. I do like. The inside of the case though. Mine showed up with a polymer type barrel shroud. Nice touch. I like the full loop on the secondary side. Top putter pocket has eyes for now. Great comparison man. Like the video.

I know you said your ar is a pistol length, but what is the length of it collapsed, so I can add that to the tape measure at the end. My ar is 32.5. Just wondering if I can squeeze it in the bag. Thanks.

I had my search narrowed to these two bags for my CMMG, BANSHEE 8.5", 7.72x39. I was leaning toward the 5.11 because I own other products from this company. The 30" SAVIOR Equipment Specialist Series 30"weight is 6 lbs. vs the 5.11 Tactical LV M4 Backpack at 3 lbs. I'm getting the 5.11 based upon your review. Thank you!

Will it fit a 16" barrel stock closed ?

It says it will fit up to a 32 inch long rifle, so I would measure your rifle with the stock collapsed and see if that's within 32 inches. I can't really give you a yes or no, as it's dependent on what muzzle device you have for total length.
