The ballpark structure itself looks identical to Fort Wayne. Biggest difference is the scenery beyond the outfield fence. I believe Midland MI similar also

YesX the scenery is much different than Fort Wayne. Gary is not a city to spend time at before or after a game. However, most games are well attended

Same for the Peoria Chiefs

Fun fact, efforts to clean up the city were spurred in small part thanks to MLB teams wanting the cats as a single A affiliate, but hesitant to house their guys in Gary. The cubs are particularly interested in replacing the pelicans as they want to localize their talent pool to just the midwestern area

Another fun fact is they used to have a set of live train horns somewhere near the press box which went off for HRs, wins, and pregame, dunno if its still there

@@aidanmackenzie3421 that is a very fun fact. I am sure they can house their players somewhere in the region that is much nicer than Gary. That definitely would bring a huge broom to the ball park that already draws decently.

@@aidanmackenzie3421 I did not notice those when I was there. I knew that the restaurant in the outfield was once a Bennigan's about 20 years ago.

I've always driven past there but haven't been to a game
